Michigan has has "unlimited background" and registration on handguns since 1927 -- even on private sales. You either need a purchase permit from the cops, or a concealed carry permit -- and completed permits or "Pistol Sales Record" forms must be turned in to your local cop shop within 10 days of purchase. We've been trying to get that crap eliminated, as it is worthless. Democrats are evil.
