Why ATF Folded in Friesen Case

Probation, loss of a gun and a $25 fine? And a misdemeanor instead of multiple felonies? Why would ATF settle for that when they apparently had him slam-dunked for serious time at Club Fed? [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at the extent the government will go to destroy a man--until their practices come under scrutiny...

SPLC Continues Hate Smear against Oath Keepers

General Washington with a very numerous Army, is between Wilmington and the Head of Elke. How will make but a pitifull Figure. The Militia of four States, are turning out, with much Alacrity, and chearfull Spirits. The Continental Army, under Washington, Sullivan and Nash, besides is in my Opinion more numerous, by several Thousands, than Howes whole Force. I am afraid that He will be frightened and run on board his ships and go away, plundering, to some other Place. [More]

Oath Keepers...?

A hate group...?

What do we really expect from the haters at the SPLC?

The iGeneration

As one of you said, I am of the IGeneration, educated and thus able to see anothers viewpoint - unlike, it seems, you lot! Guys like you should not even be allowed to carry toy guns!! [More]
Yesterday we pointed out Gary S posting a comment to one of my Gun Rights Examiner columns. I don't encourage feeding trolls, but this child is just such an oblivious example of self-contradiction, I can at least stare...

It All Depends on the Meaning of the Word "Detained"

When last we left The Northern Muckraker, he was getting rousted.

Now he's getting the runaround.

See, asking "Am I free to go?" and being told "Not yet" does not constitute being detained.

Everybody believes that, right?

I mean, a U.S. Marshal is going to deal with citizens squarely, right?

We're the Only Ones Putting Guns on the Streets Enough

Whoever broke into five take-home police cars overnight Tuesday made off with assault rifles after defeating the locked brackets holding the weapons in place. [More]
See, this is why police should be the "Only Ones" who have "patrol rifles"--if someone untrained like you or I had them, we might do something stupid like leave them unguarded but visible overnight in our cars, and then who knows what evil might result...?

Sounds like it's happening all over the place, doesn't it, with it happening in Sandoval and Bernalillo Counties, and Albuquerque, in addition to Rio Rancho...?

Meanwhile, Across the Pond in Sarah Brady Paradise...

Plans to replace the traditional pint glass with one made of shatter-proof plastic will not be accepted by drinkers, the pub industry has warned. The Home Office has commissioned a new design, in an attempt to stop glasses being used as weapons. [More]
Yeah, that'll work.

What was the career advice the guy gave Dustin Hoffman in "The Graduate"?

"Plastics."

Their government doesn't trust them with freaking glassware.

And they put up with it.

Pathetic.

Urgent Call for Camp Perry Gun Malfunction Expert

"Do you know of a reference to the Camp Perry matches where they have gunsmiths to handle malfunctions? Or any other such venue where they are used to shooters having guns that malfunction by firing a burst and then jamming? Time is of the essence on this." [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column is a plea for help. I'm talking to you.

"A True Champion of the Second Amendment"

"He is a true champion of the Second Amendment," LaPierre said of Reid. [More]
I've always thought in spite of his other Marxist tendencies, the demographics of Nevada forced Reid to be a fairly reliable pro-gun vote. So I'm curious to know why GOA rates him an "F"--all I can think of is his support for Obama and other parts of the leftist agenda have enough of a subversive back-door effect on gun rights that they wash out his more direct supporting actions. Regardless, not that I'll ever see it, but I'd be really curious to see how Harry would answer this. And even more curious to see how Wayne would answer this. [Via Brian F]

Gary S

In "Comments":
Came across this site quite by accident and cannot believe the intolerant attitude of some and the manner in which Dick's opinion is simply rubbished. Dick has a valid point and what is contained here does not constitute proof - it is hearsay and opinion. Why would anyone in their right mind want to go anywhere with a concealed gun or a unconcealed gun? Does a gun make you more of a macho man? A modern day Billy the Kid! I always thought that the pro gun groups were loony - this site and the attitudes of those that post on it proves it. [More]
Thanks, Gary S. People like you do more to discredit yourself than anything I could possibly come up with.

What do you think with "rubbished"? A Brit?

Plus, I'll be on the Andy Caldwell Show (KINF AM 1440, Central Coast, CA) at 4:00 pm PST to discuss, among other things, New Jersey's one-gun-a-month bill and ACORN's role in using tax money to stump for citizen disarmament. I've included a live stream link. I hope you have a chance to listen.

Chris Bunch Supports Gun Owners--Will They Support Him?

This isn't something you can wait on, or figure the other guy will do. Will you do something? Anything? [More]
