MMM Gallery IV (v2.0)

Here's one other I don't know how I missed, from Blognomicon--and it was from a couple weeks back (Alan--how come you didn't throw something at me to wake me from my negligent stupor?). I figured it should be a standalone post due to the nature of the subjects in v1.0, below.

This is really pretty funny, although I don't expect the fanatics at Control Arms to get the joke--or appreciate it if they did.

Ah, yes. J.R. Ewing must be made safe from gun violence.

Since I was too young to watch Dallas, I have no idea who shot JR, but I remember everyone was talking about it.

It was Mary Crosby's character. I didn't actually see the episode either, but I figured it out when one of the entertainment shows did a piece about it. They showed how everyone (including J.R.!) did the scene, and when they fired the gun, there was this little pop from the blank. But when Mary did it, the dubbed in gunfire sound effect was there. All in all, though, this is just about the funniest submission yet. But if Controlarms catches it, they'll most likely use the picture, and put Larry Hagman's name with it.

Huh. I didn't even notice that you'd missed it.

OK, I am on board with this and think it hysterical! Being from Chicago, I wanted to personalize my posts to these pure idiots with famous Chicagoans, so first picture I sent was John Wayne Gacy. That got me to thinking; Richard Speck, John Dillenger, Al Capone, the list is virtually endless! I wonder how long it will take these mindless drones to catch on.

Welcome to the club, Anon--be sure and let me know if and when your submissons get posted so I can include them in the Monday gallery...

And tell your friends!
