I just don't grok how broken some people are.

Enemies on the left are taking full advantage of "conservative Christian hypocrisy," and I don't see much chance of his poor kids avoiding long-term damage. The best secular outcome we can hope for is for him to come out as a transformed and defiant "progressive" who repudiates "repressive" social norms. That would reveal him to have been a conflicted one of theirs all along.
