SCOTUS Decision on Hawaii Carry Case will Tell Gun Owners All They Need to Know

After procedural responses, we will see if SCOTUS takes on the case or denies it without a word in another act of deliberate indifference — the Roberts court has disappointed in the past. [More]

I wonder if they're insulated -- or compromised enough -- enough to bank on a right delayed being forever denied.

It doesn't matter what he says. The mob demands his head.

Still, it's a good writeup expressing some things I had not heard before, and most Americans never will.

Daddy Issues

“Today, with our nation beset by subversive groups and propaganda which seeks to destroy our national unity, we can look for inspiration to the lives of Lee and Jackson to remind us to be resolute and determined in preserving our sacred institutions.” [More]

What kind of racist Republican would say that?

Cutting Edge Politics

“She may lose her position in the party, she may even lose her career as a politician, but that is something to be admired. Standing up for the truth, that’s something I know her father wouldn’t have done so, right now I’m kind of a fan of Liz Cheney,” he closed. [More]

UPDATES:

Here's the thing that's being lost in all this:

NumbersUSA gives Cheney a career "A" and Stefanik a career "C-" with several "Fs" and "Ds".

Well, THAT Didn't Work...

“The Court finds that the NRA did not file the bankruptcy petition in good faith because this filing was not for a purpose intended or sanctioned by the Bankruptcy Code. Therefore, cause exists under section 1112(b) to dismiss this case, which the Court finds is in the best interests of creditors and the estate." [More]

The NRA in Danger blog has posted the opinion.

Looks like Wayne will keep digging those fingers into the tiger's spine, the interest-conflicted Democrat supporting lawyer will continue to rake in millions and the rubber stamp board will continue dithering, at least until the whole house of cards collapses.  And the members? With no executor appointed, I'm not seeing a plan forward yet (and don't get me started on the guy who wants to put Chris Cox in charge), and I'm sure Letitia James would love to crush them, drive them before her and hear the lamentations of their women.
