Carrying on the 'Tradition'

This is the first time we’ve gotten the purchase permit repeal to the governor’s desk, and we’re counting on you to deliver a loud and clear message that if he vetoes the bill – if Democrats continue to support a Jim Crow law – it is they, not you, who are racist. [More]

Sorry, But I Gotta Insist

I can't make it any clearer than this:

UPDATE- And it appears I was focused on overview and missed what a deeper dive could reveal:
The post topic was Republican politicians that didn’t comment on the ATF proposed rule changes on the definition of “firearm.” My understanding of those proposed changes was that they included ATF expanding that category to include upper receivers, barrels, and other parts. Such parts would have to be serially numbered as is now required for receivers/lower receivers and/or NFA items. Part of the proposal was also to require FFL holders to number said parts(including “ghost guns”) if and when such parts would come in to their possession. My first comment was to bring up the issue of the small mountain of existing inventory of unnumbered parts out there. Is Gun Parts Corp going to have to absorb the cost of stamping numbers on firearms and parts some of which are hundreds of years old? After some thought, it came to me that some folks might not be aware of the age and quantity of spare parts stockpiles in existence. My second comment was to post just one example of parts over 100 year old that would have to be numbered by someone, not to steer business to Sarco.

The Heirs of Liberty

We have to shut it down. We have to stop all of this. There are no excuses for allowing it go on. Such dangerous leadership in the United States, while the world looks to it for strength, is a form of treason in itself. [More]

Actually, what the world is looking to are TikTok stars. That's just the way those who would rule it want it. Don't worry, they'll be designated useless eaters soon enough if America completely falls.

Meanwhile, back to T.L.'s points, it always has and always will be a determined minority. The question we each need to ask ourselves is "Am I a part of that?"

If a "Yes" isn't backed up by efforts that go beyond the consumption of information and occasional anonymous comments, the answer is really "No."

Totalitarians Gonna Totalitarianize

Senate Democrats are now seeking revenge on behalf of their friends in Silicon Valley. Just days after Armslist filed a lawsuit against Facebook and Instagram over being deplatformed, Sens. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) introduced legislation “to hold accountable online gun marketplaces that allow illegal gun sales to be conducted on their platforms.” [More]

New sanctions imposed today under the CBW Act include: Restrictions on the permanent imports of certain Russian firearms.
