Assault Weapon Suspect Captured!

Arrest made in assault of man with transmission fluid [More]
Automatic transmission fluid, or is this just more "Authorized Journalist" parroting of VPC (Vehicle Policy Center) talking points...?

This Time, We're the Fauxnly Ones Enough Again

Jailer suspected of letting boyfriend use badge, gun and uniform in robbery [More]

This is just too bewildering...

How are we supposed to keep up?

We're not...?

We're the Faux...No, This Time We're the REAL Only Ones Justified Enough. Keeps You Guessing, Though, Doesn't It?

ATF Agent Tom Mangan says the split-second decision to end the man's life, was the right one, "Based on what occurred here today, the actions of the agents was justified," said Mangan. [More]
Well, as long as a trusted voice like Tom Mangan says it's justified...

I mean, it's not like the dead guy would have had an excuse or anything...

UPDATE: Hi guys!

Must be a slow day today:

Plus I had the FBI coming around the other day. This keeps up, I may start a daily blog feature.

We're the Only Ones Unjustified Enough

Woodcarver's shooting by SPD officer ruled not justified in preliminary finding [More]
Hey, if "paid leave" under these circumstances is "routine," does that mean we'd get it too?

What? We'd be in the slammer, with the prosecutor arguing against bail?

Well, that hardly seems fair.

In Spite of It All

Swedish police hunt serial shooter [More]
In spite of all their "gun control" laws?

You know what this means, don't you?

No one can be trusted with guns.

With just a few exceptions, of course...

And if complaints were restraints...[Read]

The Hidden Life of Grant Whores

So, if we follow the money, where does it lead? [More]

Where do you think?

Highly Successful

Organizers of a weekend gun buyback program in New Bedford say they took about 140 weapons off city streets, three times as many as a similar event last year. [More]
I guess as long as they don't snitch the sheep oughtta be alright. Until one of those wolves who don't turn in the tools of their trade for gift cards decide they want something, and don't care if you give it to them or not, because they're gonna take it regardless.

Hey, since there's no questions asked, I'll bet a street worthy could even use a "liberated" card with impunity.

Talk about highly successful!

In Memoriam

If Bloomberg is going to be remembered for something, it ought to be that, for gun laws as tough as there are anywhere. [More]

Yeah, as tough as nails.

Mike Lupica can't seem to work out the disconnect between Furious Mike Paradise and a "terrible, bloody day."

Where our intrepid government watchdog is going with this, of course, is cheerleading for Bloombergian disarmament throughout the Republic.

It's his M.O.

UPDATE: I also ought to call this out from ths story:
Sunday, the Bronx cop said, "You know what would be pleasurable? About 8,000 more police on the street."

I'll just bet. Also check out the "Gravity's Rainbow"* poll.

We're the Only Ones Lowering the Bar Enough

In deciding whether Leonardo Quintana should be reinstated as an officer for the Austin Police Department, an arbitrator used the lowest common denominator to give him his job back. Everyone else who got drunk kept their jobs, so Quintana should not be the first cop in recent years to lose his job for getting plastered and then getting behind the wheel. Got that? [More]
Yeah.

Billy's mom lets him do it.

By the Time I Get to Phoenix...

Trusted Threepers Wanted.

Inquire within.

No provocateurs or informants.

We're the Only Ones Styled Enough

A tough-as-nails off-duty NYPD cop yesterday foiled an armed heist while she was getting her hair done at a Brooklyn salon -- trading bullets with a wildly firing thug in a spectacular shootout, sources said. [More]
Guess what would have happened had an Only One not been on premises?

And guess what would have happened had a non-"Only One" been equipped for self-defense, and the "tough-as-nails off-duty NYPD cop found out about it?

If you're not one of the state elites, die.  We can then use that to further justify more control.

Fortunately, Mayor Bloomberg remains unharmed.  Meanwhile, the "Authorized Journalists" at the Post have another cop worship story to keep the meme going, and judging by all the useful idiot comments to their story, it's going stronger than ever in Furious Mike Paradise.

Their own criteria demands NRA oppose Reid

That’s all we need to know. Harry Reid gave up all expectations of support from gun owners when he made the political choice to support Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. It doesn’t matter what else he has done that can be construed as “pro-gun.”  He’s been given two shots at doing the right thing in this most important of tests, and he’s failed both times, opting for party loyalty über alles. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner looks at someone who broke his oath to a signed document.  I guess it wasn't notarized.

Also see which California politicians support open carry.
