Enough for Today...

Hey, this is more than I did over the whole weekend.

Bear with me. I still won't mind a general email slowdown...

In the mean time, please help me plug this...

We're the Only Ones Highway Robbers Enough

A two-decade-old state law that grants authorities the power to seize property used in a crime is wielded by some agencies against people who are never charged with, much less convicted, of a crime. [More]
Gang ringleader Bower certainly sounds like a piece of statist work, doesn't he? Along with the Harris and Shelby County persecutors...?

I'd say it would be fair to assume any "Only One" conducting a stop in Tenaha is an armed robber, and repel him just as you would one that was not wearing a uniform.

This kind of petty local tyranny really pushes all my buttons.

Part Two

...with a special guest appearance by yours truly...

Bordering on the Illegal?

An Arizona man who has waged a 10-year campaign to stop a flood of illegal immigrants from crossing his property is being sued by 16 Mexican nationals who accuse him of conspiring to violate their civil rights when he stopped them at gunpoint on his ranch on the U.S.-Mexico border. [More]
I'm going to let you tell me your thoughts on this one.

Don't Think of it as "Betrayal"...

I'll probably have more on this later in my Examiner column.

Who's a 'Cop-Killer'?

Western Rifle Shooters Association presents "the hoplophobes' dilemma." [More]

Oh, Canada

On Friday afternoon, two gunmen pumped multiple rounds from what RCMP say were prohibited firearms into a pickup truck outside a suburban Langley mall's supermarket as shoppers were getting their weekend groceries. [More]
Say, if prohibiting some firearms results in this, why not prohibit even more?

And do you know what else will stop these--what did the Globe and Mail call them: "Free-fire zones"..?

Shutting down movie supply armorers.

That and banning body armor.

Reasonable Limits

And then we come to one of my favorite words employed by the gunhaters, "reasonable."
"However, all reasonable people surely must agree that there are circumstances that justify the termination of that right. And a gun owner with a history of violence against his or her partner falls into this category, even if he or she is not a convicted criminal."
