The Gift That Keeps on Giving?

One of the guns used in the November 13, 2015 Paris terrorist attacks came from Phoenix, Arizona where the Obama administration allowed criminals to buy thousands of weapons illegally in a deadly and futile “gun-walking” operation known as “Fast and Furious.” ... ATF leaders went out of their way to keep the information under the radar and ensure that the gun owner’s identity was “kept quiet,” according to law enforcement sources involved with the case. “Agents were told, in the process of taking the fully auto, not to anger the seller to prevent him from going public,” a veteran law enforcement official told Judicial Watch. [More]
I wonder why. I wonder if it's connected to Gunwalker. And I wonder if the Republican majority Congress is going to continue accepting stonewalling so that "independents" have to do all the uncovering.

And I wonder why they power elites want to disarm us so.

This Opposite Day progressive "most transparent administration in history" ruling is is full of wonders.

Yes, I understand the question is flawed. [More]

Still, it's a nice way to rip up some AstroTurf, and right in the "progressives'" yard.

Yeah Hillary-- you keep riding "gun control" all the way to November.

#CantorRyan Redux

Here's another reason why. [More]

I'll say it again: Trump should support Nehlen. I'll understand the reasons why he might want to hold off on that until after the convention, but once he's officially in, he should waste no time in rewarding principled loyalty and showing his actions will match his words.

Gun-Free Liability Zone

As of July 1, if a handgun carry permit holder in Tennessee is injured, suffers bodily injury or death, incurs economic loss or expense, property damage or any other compensable loss on a property posted as a gun-free zone, they can sue the person or entity who stripped them of their right to self defense. [More]
That's an improvement.

I hate to be the fly in the ointment (not really, someone's got to be) but what does this do for people who don't believe anyone has authority to dispense "permission" to exercise a right?  Not that they're likely to let a sign deter them, but it does pretty much guarantee they won't be saving others or sticking around afterward to make a report...

A Grieving Father

When the shooting started Saturday night, I'll bet there wasn't a person in the club who wouldn't have traded everything he owned in the world, for a loaded gun. [More]
I'm not sure I'd take that bet. That said, I'll bet that would have applied to some of the victims, who had a right to make that choice, even if "the law" -- and NRA "leadership"! -- refuse to recognize it.

This guy certainly has a more rational and respectable  reaction than Goddard and Parker.

CCDL Endorsed Candidate List

This year, our job of vetting candidates has come with some regret. Some legislators we endorsed in the past have voted for a gun control bill (HB5054) this past session. Interestingly enough, some legislators who voted for gun control in 2013 reversed course and did not support gun control efforts this year. While we applaud this turn around, at this time we simply cannot endorse candidates who supported SB1160 in 2013. [More]

Testing Wendy

“The spread of false information or inflammatory or threatening statements about the perpetrators or the crime itself reduces public safety and may violate federal law.” [More]
Let's see: The presence of the rapists and their families in this country helps secure the Blessings of liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.

There you go, Wendy J. Olson -- a demonstrably false statement.  When may I expect your enforcers to arrive?

Of Course, a Congress that Took Its Oath Seriously...

...would also impeach the subversive SOB in the White House. [More]

A Congress that Took the Oath Seriously would Impeach Judge Richard Posner

That’s evident from a judicial officer whose views put Al Gore’s “living Constitution” on steroids. Per Posner, the Constitution is what those in power say it is. They define what powers they will assume and what “rights” they will recognize. [More]
How can a citizen seeking justice under the Constitution receive it if an oath-disparaging judge deems such thinking has no place in the courtroom?

Meanwhile, Over at the Fundamental Transformation

Good thing the "pathway to citizenship" they've been allowed in for has nothing to do with that "single issue"!
