Release of Child Executioner Show Absurdity of ‘Prohibited Person’ Edicts

The science of healing diseased and evil minds comes up with no solutions that can ensure the monster will not once more ravage when released from his restraints. The finest minds in psychiatry can offer no more of a cure than ancient Egyptians could exorcise demons using “afa root, onions and honey.” [More]
How is leaving proven dangers free to move among us a solution to anything? Who thinks you can tell them they can't have a gun and that'll fix things?

I hope to learn and share more about this in the coming days and weeks. I also hope if it all proves out that those with influence do, too.

Only One Question

Is the demonstrable electoral advantage "immigration" and a "pathway to citizenship" will give the gun-grab lobby considered a "gun issue"? [More]

Anyone who says "No," be the first to not equivocate and try to change the subject.

I'd ask when they're going to start dishonoring other rights, but you don't need a "permit" for them.

Hmmm...

Keep in Mind

Facebook Blocks OFF. Candidate Ratings Available [More]
There they go wrong-thinking again...

Something else to keep in mind since some of the ratings involve federal candidates -- Anybody with the requisite legal knowledge about elections know if suppressing recommendations is tantamount to in-kind unreported contributions to opponents? Yeah, it's probably a stretch, but VLLA SELLA 'n all that...

How to Defend the Second Amendment

I'd have changed the verb to "argue." [More]

The Inferiority of Violent, Subhuman Racist Whites Explained

A soon-to-be-released updated edition of an Advanced Placement (AP) U.S. History textbook teaches students that white Christian Americans are finding it “difficult to adjust” to becoming a minority and puts forward the perception that President Donald Trump’s election occurred because his apparent “racism connected with a significant number of primary voters.” [More]
Noble idea, but inculcating self-loathing takes too long. Just exterminate them, which is why we need to disarm them. They stand in the way of "progress."

Hey, it's not my idea.

Need someone to show you the way?

Yeah, I know.  Kooky right-wing conspiracy theories...

Why Does This 11-Member Police Force Have $3 Million Of Military Gear? [More]
I thought we'd already established the reason to have weapons of war is to kill as many people as possible, but then I remembered that when in the hands of our community heroes they are magically transformed into "patrol rifles."

Anybody up for a "Battle of Athens" redux?

UPDATE-- I'm getting "404" reports-- I guess they don't want hot links because it's stripping the "http://" out of the url.

Try copying and pasting http://survivalinstitute.com/why-does-this-11-member-police-force-have-3-million-of-military-gear/ into your browser.

If that doesn't work, I'm fine with not sending more eyeballs over.

We're the Only Ones First-Responding Enough

My main beef here is that citizens who perceived the guy to be a credible enough threat to call 911 were force by "law" to wait for the "Only Ones" to show up and stop him. And I say that as someone who has plenty of gripes about NYPD. [More]

School Tells 16-Year-Old Student to Remove Gun Video [More]
In true Opposite Day "progressive" fashion, the biggest bullies are the school adminstrators and teachers.

What a well-raised young lady. These are the voices that need to be cultivated and given a platform. "We" need our own "children's crusade." The reality that their numbers would be a lot smaller could highlight the importance of protecting minority views.

The Bad Seed

A second-grader at Pleasantview Elementary randomly attacked students with a kitchen knife he had brought to school around 7:15 a.m. Monday, injuring three students. [More]
I've long disagreed with official policy of withholding names of minors who show themselves to be particularly dangerous. If and when they're released, those who live nearby, especially those with children, need and deserve to know how to avoid potential local menaces.

I also suspect there is more to this story than we're being told, and that there may be political reasons for that if you look at forced changes in the region.

Capture the Flag

A Jacksonville city inspector walked into a Cedar Hills Estate business to issue a warning citation over the display of military flags and employees said she insulted a customer who turned out to be a military veteran. [More]
Inigo is as puzzled by the mayor's use of "customers" as I am.

I've talked before about arrogant city workers who abuse what little power they have. I laughed when one I got into a heated exchange with (and won) ended up exposed.

The store owner's righteous defiance is what forced attention.

Anybody see what the original sin was?

And all that said, I see people are beating the hell out of the inspector on her Facebook page, where she also has a photo of her husband dying in a hospital bed. I'm not offering that as a mitigating excuse for unacceptable professsional conduct, but am offering a reminder: Sometimes it helps to keep in mind that we all bear our own burdens and sometimes what we don't see is behind what we do.

And that said, she sure does seem to do a lot of Facebook posting on what appear to be workdays and normal working hours...
