Biden Naming Harris as VP Pick Poses Special Threat for Gun Owners

“Kamala Harris is proposing a new kind of ‘red flag' law to take guns away from racists,” Breitbart reported a year ago. “It's part of her plan to ‘disarm violent hate'.” [More]

Guess who gets to determine what constitutes “racism,” and who qualifies as a “prohibited person”...

Kamala's Face Under the Tent

Congrats, guys. Your threat worked.

Uh, who gets to define "racist"...?

There is no place in any civilized society for self-entitled sociopaths like this hate-filled ethical defect.

NINTH CIRCUIT MUST STOP THE “BROADSIDE ATTACK” ON THE SECOND AMENDMENT [More]

It'd be nice if there were an "or else" attached to that.

GOA & colleague groups have filed an amicus brief in Rhode vs Becerra, a challenge to California ammunition infringements.

It Depends Upon What the Meaning of the Phrase 'Supreme Law of the Land' Is

The two contrasting votes show how the next phase of Virginia’s gun-control debate is playing out at the local level, with Democratic-controlled cities starting to pass what they see as common-sense bans on guns in public places and conservative localities declaring they want nothing to do with them. [More]

So what other individual rights should localities be able to strip from you because they've got the votes?

Like One Big Gun-Free Zone

An ordinance that would ban the possession of firearms in public spaces near events requiring city permits may soon be coming to Richmond. [More]

Yeah, that'll work.

It Depends Upon What the Meaning of the Phrase 'Well Regulated' Means

Back to the future in policing? Civilian militias in American cities [More]

Naturally, they're the exact opposite of the core purpose the Founders had in mind. But couching things this way conveniently leads back to the "need" for centralized standing army/police controls, which is the hidden objective behind the manipulated chaos.

What Kind of McCloskey Swag is She Offering?

It’s improper to prosecute someone for political reasons and she clearly outed herself as doing that by immediately using the case to fundraise off of. [More]

And Yet Another Setback for Shannon

Despite being pistol whipped, the homeowner told investigators he managed to take the gun away and shoot both intruders. [More]

Sorry, we don't know the dead home invader's name yet, so it's too early to view a "victim" memorial...

Well That Doesn't Help Shannon One Bit

Armed Florida man shot dead trying to break into home of family helping his estranged wife escape ‘horrific marriage’ [More]

It would have actually served gun-grabber interests had the homeowner been defenseless.  Think about that.

But no worries-- in a "making lemonade out of lemons" moment, the dead perp's name has been added to the National Gun Violence Memorial, so the stat is exploitable after all.

... McCoy is accused of slapping a four-year-old boy in the face twice. The investigating officer says McCoy denied that and said the child got a nosebleed after throwing himself around in a shopping cart. [More]

And the kid's mother? Oh, she ran into a door...

They sure make a point of saying he's no longer with the police department, including he wasn't at the time of his arrest. I guess that distracts attention away from at the time of the incident...

In the Bag

Airports find three times more guns despite fewer passengers [More]

My bet is none of them would have been used against anyone had the bags been allowed through, but that still leaves the question of how anyone could be that damned oblivious. I'm guessing many are first-time gun owners.

'I Will Not Comply'

Americans Are Growing Less Willing To Beg for Permission To Make a Living - Officials claim doing business is a revocable “privilege,” but many Americans see it as a right that they’ll exercise with or without licenses and permits. [More]

Take Action Now!

Please add your name to our pre-written letter to Mitch McConnell to STRIKE DOWN the “red flag” gun confiscation proposal for the military that just passed the House. [More]

I'm sorry, but in order to see that letter, I have to give up personal virtual and meatspace information to people I don't know, and with no way of telling how it will be used.

If I want to contact my senators on this, I can do so via GOA. And that said, if my senators are DiFi and Kamala, or Chuck and Kirsten, all that will do is give their staffers a good laugh. We're being asked to waste our time with any but persuadable reps. I'd like to see gun groups come up with a messaging system that focuses on those.

My Guess Would Be Cud-Chewing 'Democrats'

'Lawful' Self-Defense

Meanwhile, several Illinois residents are suing the state over significant—and arguably illegal—delays in processing Firearm Owner Identification cards, known as FOIDs. [More]

What's arguable? That definitely violates "shall not be infringed" as mandated in "the supreme Law of the Land."

Speaking of which, ol' Amy Swearer here sure uses "law-abiding" and "lawful" a lot. That leaves those of us who will not comply with disarmament edicts out in the cold.

It's great hearing DGU stories. My main concern here is for those rendered defenseless by those due process-eviscerating "red flag laws" she advocates.
