Democrats acting as Democrats despite Herald Democrat hype

What “America First” vs. partisan agenda examples  do the county apparatchiks offer that fulfill their representation of being “good for everybody”--right before they let slip that they’re “defining ourselves as Democrats” ? [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report looks up the definition of "domestic enemy."

Vanderboegh Medical Update

He's home.

He's waiting for the home health care nurse to get there and hook him up to antibiotics.  That takes its toll. He posted some yesterday, but probably won't post today until after that happens.

Equivalence?

Stand your ground discrimination?  [Read]

Or something entirely different but being exploited regardless, knowing the easily-manipulated won't bother with details and distinctions (begin on deposition pg. 27)?

Plus, they evidently had to call out SWAT and give her an ultimatum to get her to come out...

Says he:
Today's Arizona Republic, Sunday paper, p. B10, 350K circ., virtually no editing -- if they had run this info before the governor's veto, the bill might have passed. Instead, the entire argument took place on non-existent "facts" and hype and misinformation. Rights denial for imaginary safety (not even for real safety).
That's one of the reasons why this project can make a difference. Will you help make a difference and write a letter of your own?

A Critical Failure

So began a series of critical failures by Metro to protect its passengers. [More]
You're how old, and you still think that's their responsibility?  And you think exhibiting an utter lack of situational awareness and preparedness puts none of the responsibility on you?  The fact that you put the emphasis on "fee[ling] safe" as opposed to being safe pretty much says it all.

Here's the thing about Metro's finest: If you're eating candy bars and french fries, that's one thing--chances are they can ruin your day and still go home at the end of their shift. Otherwise...

And by the way, "stalking" the suspect meant you wouldn't have been able to claim "stand your ground" if he'd turned on you, and you then had to use all necessary force to defend yourself. Not that you could in DC anyway...

What's in a Word?

Police say a man attacked a 65-year-old woman with a knife and ripped the earrings from her body. [More]

As someone who has spent no small amount of time teaching and giving examples to two growing boys about what it means to be a "man," I conclude that cowardly animal and his accomplice don't qualify. There is nothing quite so low as the type of evil parasite who would victimize those trying to help. The existence of such almost makes me rethink my position on roadside crucifixions.
