New Year's Gun Rights Resolution: Build a Guns and Liberty Video Collection

I will obtain videos that advocate the right to keep and bear arms and share them with others. [More]
Today's second Gun Rights Examiner column is my sixth suggested resolution. Which videos would you suggest? Let me know over there in comments.

A Matter of Convenience

Allowing yourself to be disarmed for the convenience of robbers who don't observe such foolish conventions, that is...
Three Loaf 'N Jug stores and one Kum 'n Go store have been robbed.[More]
Wyoming is pretty good as far as armed citizens are concerned, so I'm wondering if this is due to all-to-typical convenience store employee disarmament policies.

What--did they name their stores after their magazine racks?

A Minor Misdemeanor...

...with major consequences. [More]

We're the Only Ones Hateful and Corrupt Enough

Again, noting how they're dominating today's posts, I find myself repeating that I don't go out looking for these... [More]

A Virtual "This Home is Gun Free" Sign?

I dunno, Bruce. I don't think I'd be posting my address along with such sentiments. [More]

I note Google Maps even gives the street view...

We're the Only Ones Gympie Enough

A police spokeswoman said the officer was holstering the gun when it went off.

"He suffered a wound to his leg and was transferred to Gympie Hospital for treatment," she said. [More]
Ah yes. The gun went off.

I'd say this Aussie finalist for the coveted Lee Paige "Only Ones" Award in the international division has a leg up on the competition...

We're the Only Ones Who Just Slay You Enough

D.C. officer charged with felony murder in shooting [More]
Because in the nation's capitol, the place where they are supposed to serve We the People through observing the restrictions of delegate enumerated powers, all the while honoring the inviolate nature of unalienable rights, only the "Only Ones" can be trusted to carry guns.

Leave it to Cathy Lanier to bring us the comedy gold:
"We will not allow this department to be judged by one bad apple"...
Don't worry, Chief. We'll consider the whole barrel.

Meanwhile, Across the Pond in Sarah Brady Paradise...

Millionaire who fought off a knife-wielding burglar is jailed (while the intruder is let off) [More]
Yeah, let's be like them.

Probable Cause of Criminal Activity

Concealed carry, that is. According to a federal judge.

Ed Stone has the details.

We're the Only Ones Familial Enough

"Do it. My family are cops," Cujdik said, according to Westberry. [More]
The "Only Ones" arrogance appears to run deep.

Which means it's come to be taken as the natural order of things.

I wonder why that is. I wonder how widespread it is. I wonder what it will take to get it to change.

We're the Only Ones Giving a Little Whistle Enough

Get this playing in the background before reading on.
Thousands of Oak Park residents are being equipped with a simple device to help fight crime in the village.

Police are passing out whistles that they are urging citizens to blow if they are victims of or witnesses to a crime. [More]
And if that doesn't work, you can always
1. Vomit
2. Surrender
3. Scream (while poking with "a rat tail comb")
4. Pull the covers over your head.

Leave it to Illinois "Only Ones" to expect us to whistle past the graveyard of history.

I don't suppose they'd go along with us taking away their guns and giving them the damn whistles.

Note the cud-chewers who think it's a good idea. You have to admit, calling someone a Niznik sounds about right.

Also note how "Officers are willing to take that chance..."

With our lives, of course, not their own.

Note to Park Police Cmdr. Keenan Williams and Police Chief Rick Tanksley: Go blow yourselves.

Kohl's Denies Involvement in Holiday 'Gun Buyback'

1) The hospital did not have permission to use our name in their promotion.
2) The hospital bought Kohl's gift cards on their own.

3) This is not a Kohl's program or sponsorship.
