After Trump Win, Democrats Reduced to Blue State Gun Infringements

The good thing is future gun-grabber gains will likely be reduced to “sure win” states, as Nevada only gave them a <1% victory margin. So much for the “fake news” meme that 80% of Americans, including most gun owners, agree with registration-enabling edicts. And there aren’t a lot more substantive edicts they can impose in places like California or New Jersey, especially with the expected reconstituted Supreme Court majority on the way. [More]
Provided establishment Republicans don't figure out a way to screw it up.

We're the Only Ones Trained Enough

Because of his training, “he should have known better,” Malcor said. [More]
Adults need training to know right from wrong?

Besides, he knows. He just doesn't care.

'Under Control,' Opposite Day 'Progressive'-Style

Berlin Mayor Michael Muller said “the situation is under control.” [More]
That was my first thought, too. Along with a nagging feeling that we could learn a lot from the Germans about making "refugees" feel welcome, and start experiencing more of the benefits of inclusive tolerance, maybe even in time for a Christmas surprise or two of our own.

And now we come to the part of the tour where we share the fun bonding experience of doing body cavity searches on disabled war vets and on octogenarians with hip replacements. Who wants to go first...?

And if you don't have a "television provider"?

If this were a for-profit network, I could understand limiting viewership to paying customers. But this is C-SPAN, enjoying special access with the understanding that it provides a "public service."

How does denying live streaming access to the unfolding electoral vote not "disenfranchise"?

It's over:  5:28 p.m. – Donald Trump, 306 | Hillary Clinton, 166 | Other, 4

In your face, Lawrence Lessig and every "fake news" site that treated him as credible in an attempt to do what they're accusing the Russians of.

And Still Speaking of Russians...

Good trigger discipline... [More]

Still, how this happened in a place that rivals California or New Jersey in its "common sense gun safety laws" is something of a mystery...

UPDATE:

Ah, no wonder: We're the Only Ones Off Duty Enough!

Speaking of Russians

Who are the "Republicans" who allowed a clause siding with Democrats on Russian "influence" into this bill?

The Most Busted Name in News

God DAMN those Russians and their "fake news," anyway....

About those 'School Shootings'

Funny what qualifies. [More]

Not "Ha-Ha" funny -- the other kind.

Gosh, if we can't trust Bloomberg and Everytown on guns, who can we trust?

The Buckeye Gun Menace!

A record 25,474 concealed-carry gun permits were issued in Ohio during the third quarter this year, a 59 percent jump over the same period in 2015. [More]
Curious, how the last big Ohio "shooting report" to make the news didn't involve any of those carriers and didn't even involve a gun...

It's almost like "law-abiding" people share a certain commonality...

We're the Only Ones Not Lovin' It Enough

A McGrumpy US Marshal wasn’t lovin’ the wait at a Brooklyn McDonald’s — so he whipped out a loaded gun and pointed it at the terrified cashier and customers, cops said Sunday. [More]
I can't begin to tell you how many times I've done that! See, I knew there was a reason for the Sullivan Law making sure only "Only Ones" and special elites could carry guns in NYC.

And the "Good German" Award goes to 74-year-old Margaret Johnson, who observes:
“[U.S. Marshals] are under a lot of pressure. They’re under a lot of stress. They risk their lives every day.”
Yeah. He deserves a break today.

Brooking No Competition

Sgt. Julian Prezas pleaded guilty to funneling dozens of assault rifles to members of Mexico’s Gulf Cartel last year. The former Army recruiter pleaded guilty in two separate cases on Monday. He is being charged with five counts of lying on federal firearms forms and attempting to export defense articles to Mexico. [More]
Funny they should bring up export law violations.

A very few of us have been wondering why no one from the OIG, House Oversight or Senate Judiciary pursued that obvious avenue with the original "gunwalker" architects.

Remind me again, who was running State back then...?

There's a reason none of their videos allow "likes/dislikes" and comments.

Competing Interests

It is in the nation’s interest for Democratic Party’s leaders and for Clinton voters to fully recognize the legitimacy of the election as they had urged Trump to do after the third presidential debate. [More]
Actually, it's in the nation's interests for an outcome that best fulfills the objectives of the Preamble.  If Hillary had won, some of us would attribute it to ignorance, apathy, subversion and fraud.

Running Interference?

Parting Shot

The Obama administration announced on Thursday that it was nominating Adegbile for a six-year term on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Unlike its appointment of Adegbile in 2014 to chair the Justice Department Civil Rights Division, this nomination does not require approval from the Senate. [More]
Another parting shot, that is.

This was done, of course, so that further resentments over "racism" can be fabricated and stoked if Trump boots him.

Implied Approval

In my original draft title, I used "will." [More]

I substituted "should" because I realized there would be comments I anticipated when I wrote:
The first reaction might be “Who gives a…?”
That so many evidently had that reaction, both under the article and that I've seen in various places this was promoted on social media, is still pretty revealing. Here's one last set of observations:

Of course there are bigger fish to fry.  That's not the point. If you see something objectionable, you object. Or at least I do. Broken windows and untended concerns 'n all. Plus, big abusers start out by getting away with small abuses.

The National Endowment for the Arts, itself without any constitutional justification for being, has definitely played a significant role in incubating and nurturing anti-2A and other subversive propaganda.

Trump was put over the top and in office by gun owners. Stallone has endorsed door-to-door gun confiscation.  Anyone claiming to be pro-RKBA who's OK with giving a famous hypocrite gun-grabber a position of prestige and media scrutiny in the new administration has lost me on the logic of signalling you'll accept such appointments no problem.

Fortunately, it appears to be a moot point:
Sylvester Stallone would reject offer to serve in Trump administration as National Endowment for the Arts chairman
