I'll Be Back

“We know that in a few years we will get what we want,” said Josh Horwitz, executive director of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence. [More]
And they will, too, barring enough people waking up and giving a damn enough to actually do something about the takeover.

I'd say he's eligible for expulsion except he seems to be on the same page as Wayne, Chris and Marion.

Armed American Radio Redux

My conversation with Mark Walters has been archived. [Listen]

We spent the majority of the hour dissecting a piece by a "crusading investigative reporter" who has made the astounding discovery that criminals don't obey the law(!) and the balance of the time noting who complains that people who question the status quo are "enemies."

Homeland Security pursues charges against leaders of sanctuary cities [More]
As an analogy, I'm thinking of the way gun bans are treated: "Authorities" avoid mass confiscations since they fear mass resistance.  Instead, they focus on making examples of individuals.

How to get around federal Democrats and judges is another matter.  I fear we're talking sound and fury here, and little else.

I would love to be proven wrong.

The New Leni Riefenstahls

Facebook, Google tell Congress they're fighting extremist content with counterpropaganda [More]
And, of course, it depends upon what the meaning of the word "extremist" is.

Looks like they've finally found a way to control the narrative -- at least on a mass scale.

"Progressives" would be screaming "Antitrust!" at the top of their lungs if this didn't serve their agenda.

A Tale of Two Approaches

There's the "pragmatic" approach, which has resulted in California being where it is today... [More]

And there's the "I will not comply" approach:
I sometimes wonder whether the socialists will issue an edict requiring all firearms to have a pink ribbon tied to the barrel, just to get a belly laugh as the panicked descendants of once-proud American patriots scurry to comply.
"Realists" vs. "principles freaks" is hardly a new argument.

So it doesn't surprise me.

You might want to ask yourself why "gun rights leaders" in the place most affected by it have avoided making the obvious a priority, making the predictable a reality.

Any bets part of the platform will include a cutting off of what "progressives"  ridicule as "manhood"?

Speaking of tweeting for $$$ (with a donations link also included in  the Twitter account bio blurb),  how does this not violate FEC laws?

Isn't a candidate sending supporters there and asking for their donations "authorization" enough? It depends upon what the meaning of the word "authorized" is...?

These are the folks who can answer.

Oh look: My Man Mitthead is making Quisling noises again. [More]

Speaking of Enemies Within...

Jeff Flake isn’t just comparing Trump to Stalin. He’s comparing Republicans to Stalin’s enablers. [More]
Yes, of course.

Trump is an avatar. Those who hate him and want him dead want the same for those who voted for the platform he pledged.

Ri...i..ight.

If we can't trust a CNN Democrat mouthpiece on what's good for Republicans, who can we trust?

Still, nice of him to admit another major reason is to keep the government's Ponzi house of cards from collapsing until they're sure they can get away with it.
