When Assault Babies are Outlawed...

...only outlaws will have assault babies. [More]

But the smart money says the "Only Ones" won't be giving up their patrol babies any time soon...

Boundaries Exceeded

In the unlikely event that a deer is wounded outside the park and then enters the park boundary, what are the procedures for making sure the animal does not go to waste? [More]
Anybody remember the feds passing a Mandated Animal Suffering Act...?

The Immunity Syndrome

Forgive a detour into nerdland, but my argument about strictly academic thinking in yesterday's "Con-Con" post reminded of a Star Trek episode, "The Immunity Syndrome," where the ship Intrepid, manned by Vulcans, has been destroyed. Dialog between Kirk and Spock:
S: Their logic would not have permitted them to believe they were being killed.
K: Explain.
S: Vulcan has not been conquered within its collective memory. The memory goes back so far that no Vulcan can conceive of a conqueror. I knew the ship was lost because I sensed it.
K: What did you sense?
S: A touch of death.
K: And what do you think they felt?
S: Astonishment.
Our collective memory does not allow most to fathom that they personally could end up in a mass grave.

We're the Only Ones Taking Tips Enough

Deputies Take Crime Tips By Text Message

Tipsters Can Remain Anonymous, Sheriff Says...

From any cell phone, someone with information can text "CRIMES," which is the number 274637 on their phone's keypad with the first word in the body of the message as "CCSO"...

The new software allows text-messaging informants to remain anonymous, by encrypting their messages and routing it through several secure servers. [More]
HELP! POLICE! THERE'S A MAN WITH A GUN!

Here's a tip for any gangbangers in the Clackamas area--want to eliminate a rival, and get the "Only Ones" to do your dirty work for you? There's even a chance they'll waste him for you! Now you can do it risk-free and securely--all from the comfort of your own crib...

The Marilyn Miller Question

So, do you think she's just an ignorant parrot who is incompetent at actually investigating the stories she "reports", or do you think she's agenda-driven and knows perfectly well what she's doing? [More]

Either way, what can I say besides "Authorized Journalist"?

Gosh, I Hope Marshal Dave is OK

Law enforcement computers were struck by a Mystery computer virus Thursday, forcing the FBI and the U.S. Marshals to shut down part of their networks as a precaution. [More]
Let's hope it just turns out to be carelessly downloaded kiddie porn. I'm pretty sure there was nothing in that Bite-Me-Gram...

More 'Gun Control' Won't Stop Drug War Corruption and Violence

It almost takes on a comical aspect:

[G]uards appeared to overacting for the cameras, "in Jim Carrey style."

I say "almost," because the very existence of these predators and their corrupt government accomplices is an obscene tragedy that victimizes citizens on both sides of the border. [More]

Today's Gun Rights Examiner column shows this is no laughing matter. Those trying to exploit Mexican corruption to disarm you and me are liars. And those who fall for their lies are fools.

Just to let you know, I'm practically always in the top 5 for national politics, generally at position 1 or 2. But for all nationwide categories combined, here is where we currently stand today:

Top Examiners in National

The Heirs of Liberty are fixated on pH Factor trivia--exactly what the Republic does not need, but exactly what the ruling elites want. I ask you to help me promote my GRE column links to help put a dent in that so that other media outlets will see a readership benefit from promoting RKBA dialog.
