Friday the 13th Redux

My conversation with host Mark Walters... [Listen]

The Obvious Solution

Man accused of slugging Rick Moranis has history of assaulting strangers [More]

So he can't be trusted with his hands...?

Hidden Costs

Northam backs effort to legalize recreational use of marijuana in Virginia [More]

He just wants to create more "prohibited persons."

[Via Mack H]

But Won't That Devalue His Collection?

Prominent leftist YouTuber calls for the legalization of child pornography [More]

Give it a few years and anyone against will be "canceled" as a "hater"!

Two Can Play That Game

Kirkland & Ellis’s lawyer tried to deny one of their attorneys harassed and threatened Linda Kerns before finally admitting it and then defending the conduct. [More]

Really?

I wonder if one of their lawyers will threaten me?

Give Up or They'll Hurt Us Worse?

The stubborn refusal of President Donald J. Trump and many other Republicans to accept the November 3 outcome is likely to become a new talking point for Electoral College foes. [More]

Because it's all "baseless," right?

You want to see stubborn refusal, let's talk compliance with Biden's gun-grab agenda. I'm for throwing every obstacle in front of that people can find. Forgive me if recommending surrender to men who are armed and intent on staying that way, coming from the spokesflack for a "politically non-aligned" self-styled "rebellion," sounds like so much bleating.

And as for engineering a tyranny of the majority, well, I've got a "Democracy" piece due out on Firearms News soon that will cover all the checks and balances the totalitarians are trying to do away with. Sounds like more stubborn refusal is in order.

We're the Only Ones Spoiling the Barrel Enough

“A few bad apples.” It’s a recurring phrase used to describe police when accusations of excessive force or misconduct arise. [More]

You can say that again and again and again and...

[Via Mack H]

The Mailing Lists I Get On

Does anyone see anything here that looks remotely like vital and necessary public work instead of meaningless "make work" for political reasons and to keep the tax plunder coming in? [More]

I'm wondering if this whole thing folded up tomorrow if anyone but the career trough-feeders who fail to police housing code violations and plead guilty to taking bribes for permits would notice.

Do I Sense Some 'Not Invented Here' Jealousy?

BATFE Leadership Push Biden to Target Pistol Stabilizing Braces and Unfinished Receivers [More]

Funny, who started that "reclassification" ball rolling...

As long as Trump is in attack mode and the Dems will try to destroy him no matter what he does, why not fire Lombardo and Richardson?

[Via Jess]

Sounds Good to Me

Michigan lawmaker calls for Whitmer's impeachment... [More]

Now we see if they're serious or just making noise.

Sorry for raising doubts, but Republicans with cojones is a new one on me.

Are Mexico’s stringent gun control laws aiding a rise in cartel violence? [More]

So it's not "lax U.S. gun laws"...?

Obviously a Racist with a Small P****

There are a couple areas where I'd ask her to consider some counter-arguments, but on the whole, she has a much better understanding than most Americans and all Democrats.

This is the type of immigrant whose admission here would be entirely consistent with the Preamble because admitting such individuals absolutely helps to "secure the Blessings of Liberty." That said, info I've seen says she's living in South Korea, and their gun laws are restrictive.

And yeah, I'm aware she has her doubters.

Shannon's PO'd

I can think of all kinds of photos you could use.

How would you say "Everytown" in German?

[Via bondmen]

That's Gratitude for Ya

ST. LOUIS – A father of four was shot and killed last month by a man whom he helped out of a crashed vehicle. [More]

But...but...but Operation LeGend...

[Via bondmen]

The March of Folly

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, homicides in St. Louis decreased by more than 50% during the 12 weeks the Operation has been in place compared to the 12 weeks prior. The city saw 111 homicides from May 12 to Aug. 12 compared to 52 homicides between Aug. 13 and Nov. 5. Overall crime has decreased by 26.6% since the Operation began.  [More]

That means, in spite of throwing all the king's horses and all the king's men at it, it's still operating at 73.4% "efficiency." And that means...

Keep going after the effects and ignoring the causes. Who thinks anything will ultimately change, except for a growing collectivist state to futilely try to contain problems of its own making?

[Via bondmen]

Selective Tolerance

St. Louis County's top prosecutor will 'not tolerate' health order violators [More]

So is this a "public health crisis" or not?

I  guess going after small businesses trying to keep from going under is more doable and generally considered safer.

[Via bondmen]

We're the Only Ones Unschooled Enough

St. Louis County police question newly-passed resolution discouraging officers in schools [More]

It's almost like they want claiming rights for one of their "gun-free zones" as the birthplace of the next "assault weapon" ban -- you know, just in case the "school resource officer" tried to do more than hide.

[Via bondmen]

Funny How That Works

A federal judge in New York ruled on Saturday that Barack Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) amnesty program for illegal alien children was illegally suspended by Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf because the acting secretary, according to the judge, assumed his position unlawfully. [More]

But the acting Attorney General was within his authority to declare untold numbers of citizens felons unless they surrendered or destroyed lawfully obtained private property?

Until the answer is to call forth the Militia, the security of a free State will forever be in jeopardy.

Blasts from the Past

I can't do justice to the info here with a simple link to today's updating aggregator post, so this one gets to be standalone. WarOnGuns Correspondent Laocoön sends via email:

First thing banana republic coup traitors do is grab radio stations, etc. Our coup traitors already had the media (including Fox News) grabbed much of the internet and social media alternatives and began progressively ramping up censorship years *before* the coup. “Fair and Balanced” Fox suspended Janine and silenced McEnany for trying to discuss vote fraud. Appears they’re backing off somewhat in the face of permanently pissing away too many viewers to One America News, etc. The Murdochs prioritize money grubbing first, globalism second.

Dindu Nuffin Republicans knew about all this and did ... tah dah ... NOTHING.  Now many are acting like vote theft is something new.

Meanwhile, Across the Pond in Piers Morgan Paradise...

Moves by the British government to stamp out one of the last fragments of the gun community not already under strict regulation will see thousands of relic firearms in the hands of collectors banned.  [More]

Let's all take a moment to remember Sir Thomas Sean.

And "no."

Tommy Lee explains why.

Stopping the Signal

CTH is being kicked-off the WordPress website hosting platform because the content of our research and discussion does not align with the ideology of those who define what is acceptable speech and what is not. [More]

They did that to WRSA, too.

I'm wondering about the feasibility of a bill that any bank doing business with tech companies that discriminate against lawful enterprise or speech becomes ineligible for federal bailouts...?

Not that it would be thinkable without Republican majorities, and even then they'd chicken out...

Why Would Those Banning the Second Amendment Worry About the First?

Biden Transition Official Thinks The U.S. Has Too Much Free Speech, Wants To Change That [More]

But don't worry -- it will just be what they deem "hate speech."

How Much Longer Will This be Tolerated?

The article, published by SPLC's "Teaching Tolerance" division, outlines how white people weaponize their "entitlement, anger, … need for retaliation, feigned fear and, finally, white fragility." [More]

More than a little projection going on there...

Soft War Hardening

From nondescript buildings in the industrial nucleus of Wuhan, across wavy seas to dusty tented super laboratories in the heart of Mexico, and then across the jagged southwest border and dispersing like a wild bomb ripping through every crevice of the United States, the growing presence of Chinese drug lords and cartels below the southern border is one that is killing an unprecedented amount of Americans. [More]

Seems nothing but misery comes from Wuhan.

Who thinks they operate without sanction from Chicom officials? And then there are all the domestic beneficiaries...

[Via Jess]

Spoiling the Celebration

Four disabled veterans left a Marine Corps ball in Houston on Saturday to find their truck windows shattered and belongings stolen. A handgun, a purse and a laptop were included among the missing possessions. [More]

Yeah, I know. Low. Only scum would do it.

That's what thieves are.

So, why leave a gun in a car?

I didn't have time to investigate beyond a quick check and was unable to find if the Houston Marriott South prohibits or allows concealed carry. I did find Texas law does not outright prohibit you from having a drink if carrying, but chances are if you're at a ball you'll consume enough over the course of the evening to register on a breathalyzer, and the low limits make that a risk that would make some think twice.

[Via Steve T]

Unclear on the Concept

Damn it, NO, IT DID NOT 'GIVE' ANYTHING! Yet look at all the gun owners blindly buying into this without one objection raised. The failure of the petition, with its much more limited reach, shows how louder voices are the ones that "win."

If our "friends" don't get that and spread this dangerous and subversive falsehood around, what do we expect our enemies, who know better, to do with that?

Who's the real "Trojan Horse"?

Speaking of 'Disputed'...

President-elect Joe Biden Tweeted his congratulations, saying the launch was "a testament to the power of science." [More]

So the election has been certified and it's official? No?

Funny, no one disputed Reuters' tweet on its own story...

I guess that's one of the perks of being one of the arbiters.

Lies of Omission

Nearly 2 dozen arrested in Trump protests in Washington [More]

Anybody see any indication in this "report" of who initiated violence, or which side racked up the preponderance of arrests?

I mean, AP is one of the arbiters of what's legit and what's "baseless" in election coverage...

UPDATE: Looks like I'm not the only one who noticed.

[Via Michael G]

As the Culture Terraforms

Analysis conducted by the Center for Immigration Studies’ Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler finds that the nation’s importation of at least 14 million immigrants since the year 2000 has drastically altered electorates in a number of states. The migration has a massive impact on who wins elections because foreign-born voters are vastly more likely to vote Democrat over Republican. [More]

You don't say.

Funny, how none of our national and state "gun rights" organizations are willing to bring that up in deciding how "pro-gun" a politician really is. No "gunbloggers" (besides one I know about), either.

The bottom line: You vote to bring in more Democrats, it undoes all your "good" votes when they assume the majority. And decades of experience have not shown a significant reversal of that. Nor do stories of how Trump has increased minority support because the bottom line is those populations are still overwhelmingly Democrat.

No one will answer my challenge because all the evidence is against them and they can't. Instead, they make phony objections or try to divert with weasel-words and non sequitur BS. Anyone who denies the danger is either a liar or willfully deluded.

Change my mind.

Better yet, change Joe's.

Undisputed

 Radical Left ANTIFA SCUM... [More]

Funny, I don't see this claim "disputed"...

Yeah, Listen to the Little P*ssy

For public safety, Ohio must reject ‘stand your ground’ [More]

The effete manchild doesn't seem to understand adults not being able to stand their ground ensured all those Parkland dead. And as for Trayvon being "murdered," some people just need to have their heads pounded into the sidewalk before they'll understand.

If people weren't attacking other people, standing ground would not be necessary.

What the DSM Calls 'Baseless'

I'll use this post for Biden voter fraud tips, so I expect it will be updated several times today. Same caveats as stated before on these aggregate posts apply:

You know, "baseless"...

Feel the Burn

Neighbors react after husband of Denver’s District Attorney is charged with 12 felony arson counts [More]

But he's not in jail? So no chance they could charge him as a "terrorist" under the Federal Antiterrorism Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 like they did the Hammonds?

Speaking of different treatment under the law, seeing as how he's charged with 12 felonies, will Democrat red flag-thrower DA Beth McCann, as "a family member or a member of law enforcement ... ask a court to enter an order to a person who is deemed to pose a significant risk to self or others to relinquish his ... firearms immediately and not to purchase others [and] If the person refuses, law enforcement members can execute a search warrant for the weapons"?

The Finest Citizen Disarmament Money Can Buy

It seems antigun billionaires think there’s nothing a few dollars and manipulation of government data can’t fix. Arnold Ventures, ran by former Enron trader John and Laura Arnold, is a billionaire philanthropy organization that wants to save us from ourselves through their deep pockets. More specifically, they seek to restrict the freedom to keep and bear arms. [More]
