The Welcoming Committee

So I Had The FBI Waiting For Me When I Got Home [More]

I'm a James Duane kind'a guy these days, especially with multiple agents there, which tells me they are serious about looking for someone to f***.  They will take the most innocuous "Yes" or "No" and try to hang you on a lie. And that one weasel at the end was being evasive about ID'ing himself.

Absolutely up to no good. I'd be careful about writing more because if they can use it they most certainly will.

Still Tone Deaf After All These Years

Federal law already allows Federal and State law enforcement officers to protect themselves by carrying a concealed firearm, but the Federal Government can do more to cut the red tape that Federal law enforcement officers must navigate to exercise their right. The current threat to Federal prosecutors also demands an expansion of their ability to carry a concealed firearm, as allowed under the Department of Justice’s existing authorities. Finally, the Congress should act expeditiously to adopt legislation extending the right to carry a concealed firearm to Federal judges and pass other measures that will expand our capacity to combat threats of violence against judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers. [More]

The ones who will put us away for claiming our right. Like I said-- his to blow.

Not Worth the Effort

Cuomo Set Up Three Layers of Security at State Capitol for Violent MAGA Supporters – Nobody Showed Up but Liberal Reporters [More]

That's some intelligence he's got working for him there.

I wonder how many actors they had to tell to go home.

All Things in Moderation

“Moderate” Manchin Goes Full Tyrant On Senate Colleagues Hawley, Cruz [More]

But...but...but...

Second of five children? So in his father's house were many Manchins?

I really apologize for that. It's been a long day.

Did I mention Mark Zuckerberg spends $10M on personal security?

It's da Bomb

“My first reaction was this has gotta be trash, until I leaned closer and, sort of, something looked like a bomb,” she recounted. [More]

At least she wasn't ridiculed for being a racist who couldn't recognize a clock.

Lt. Gen. HonorĂ©: Protesters Can't Be Allowed to Carry Long Guns at State Capitols [More]

What do you want to bet he's against carrying handguns there, too, open or concealed?

A Great Future in 'Progressive' Politics

The thief scolded the mother for leaving the kid in the car and threatened to call the police on her before driving off in the car, police said. [More]

What are the odds either one is Republican?

Rat Got Your Tongue?

“This idea that saying that Pennsylvania was ‘rigged’ or that we were ‘trying to steal the election’ — that’s a lie. And you do not have the right, that is not protected speech.” [More]

Do I have a right to tell this rodent he's a Stalinist hack?

Let Mikey Try It

Emory University’s student newspaper wrote that though the school should force some students to get the COVID-19 vaccine, Black, Indigenous, People of Color students should be able to receive an exemption. [More]

Funny. I don't remember the commercial being motivated by seething manufactured racism.

Unwell Regulated

Federal law, constitutions in every state and criminal statutes in 29 states outlaw groups that engage in activities reserved for state agencies, including acting as law enforcement, training and drilling together, engaging in crowd control and making shows of force as armed groups at public gatherings. [More]

Deceptively stated but the point is there is so much room for interpretation of activities that charges can be leveled even when you're not engaging in them, and it's up to you to fight a persecutor with unlimited resources.

Not that anyone is interested in doing things the intended way...

The Trouble with Spontaneity...

Protesters who love their guns could lose them if convicted in U.S. Capitol siege [More]

I wonder how many will be squeezed into giving them up in plea bargains.

Speaking of Unamerican Activities...

“With so many red flags about this company in the ATF’s own records, it should never have even been a close call whether to allow it to continue selling guns under a new name,” Lefkowitz said in a statement. [More]

Funny thing about "red flags.  You don't have to actually be guilty of anything.

Lyft Every Voice and Surrender

Cleveland Lyft driver fired for admitting to firing legally-owned gun during attempted carjacking [More]

This surprises who?

She's black and economically disadvantaged enough to have to drive her own car and she just got fired by two exploitive super-rich white boys.  Seems Black Lives Matter ought to have some kind of say in that, or better yet, who do we contact at NFAC now that Grand Master Jay appears to have indefinitely sidelined himself?

There, I fixed it for ya.

Not that Drudge readers will ever be told:

Lincoln Projection

"The truth is that I'm gay," Weaver told former Washington Free Beacon journalist Lachlan Markay in a prewritten statement. "And that I have a wife and two kids who I love. My inability to reconcile those two truths has led to this agonizing place." [More]

In other words, Ever Humper here is still trying to deflect with excuses and gain some sympathy to boot.

The truth is I'm straight. And that I have a wife and two kids that I love. And if I tried to use Weaver's bullshit about agonizing and reconciliation to justify pressuring and imposing myself on a young female using career perks as an implied promise and denial as an implied threat, I'd fully expect and deserve to be branded a liar, a bully, a scumbag, a weakling, and a disgrace.

Just like all his Lincoln Project "colleagues" who wouldn't have said a word if the issue hadn't been forced...

Overwhelmed

Regular readers know I don't blog over the weekends except for the occasional article announcement or if something big comes up. That does not mean I'm not busy, it just means I need that downtime here for behind-the-scenes sausage-making.

I got probably 80 emails and social media messages in that time, none of which I can even get to until I complete some articles first, which may take the rest of the day.

I appreciate that readers care enough to send me tips but the weekend buildup is more than I can even get to, let alone handle. Please understand, there is only one of me and I'm up to my neck in things.
