An Idea Whose Time Has Come

Sen. Markey says all police must be disarmed of 'weapons of war' including tear gas, rubber bullets [More]

Welcome to your turn in the barrel, "Only Ones"!

I'm just wondering which nation's army takes to the field with bean bags. And I guess real weapons of war against "civilians" are OK with the guy.

Can we start with the Capitol Police and these guys...?

Daily Defense

I'll be joining host Mark Walters this afternoon at 4 Eastern to talk about whatever he wants to bring up.  You can find a station near you or listen via live streaming at the Armed American Radio website, or watch Mark and join the comment thread on Facebook.

If You're Going to Be a Pariah Anyway, Why Not Be a Defiant One?

“I understand revolutionary movements and neighbors denouncing neighbors. Colleagues, workers denouncing other workers, is one of the hallmarks of a revolutionary movement — and that’s essentially what cancel culture is,” he said. [More]

You know, struggle sessions.

The object is not to redeem the target, it is to make him an example with which to cow all the others. Reenfranchising him would be counterproductive when he is still useful as an object lesson for compelling herd obedience.

If you give in they own you. And if they own you, you're their disposable slave.

The Company They Keep

Heiress to Predatory Mortgage Empire to Spend $200 Million for Dems [More]

That she's married to "a self-described student of 'Marx, Mao, and Lenin'" who backed Jesse Jackson for president should tell us everything we need to know -- about her and about Democrats.

Speaking of Unlawful...

The prosecution of Mark and Patricia McCloskey in St. Louis City for unlawful use of a firearm has no legal basis and should be dismissed. This thread will discuss the factual background to the case. [More]

Follow it step-by-step and see for yourself.

They are being persecuted in an illegitimate act of official abuse done for purely political purposes. Now think what would have automatically happened did they not have the wherewithal to fight this, which is a pretty good indicator that what the commies are basically demonstrating is that if you're the proletariat, you're screwed from getting justice.

Young Panel Announced

Panel: THOMAS, Chief Judge, and O'SCANNLAIN, McKEOWN, WARDLAW, W. FLETCHER, CLIFTON, BYBEE, CALLAHAN, IKUTA, FRIEDLAND, and R. NELSON, Circuit Judges [More]

No, they're not "young."

The case is.

Could They Have Been More Unclear

Even Yul is stumped.

Cry the Betrayed Country

"Plaasmoorde: The Killing Fields": Katie Hopkins' documentary about South Africa (FULL LENGTH) [Watch]

I'll have to find time to watch it and see how it tracks with this.

Fortunately, we have South African import Charlize Theron doing what she can to eliminate evil guns as an option.

The Stupid! It Burns!

Arizona State University hosted a virtual event on "America’s love affair with lethal self-defense." [More]

They just walked up to this moron and said "Hold our beer."

Unclear on the Concept

“A cop shouldn’t just be able to shoot somebody in self-defense. Nobody should be able to shoot somebody in self-defense, unless there’s obviously like uh you know, I don’t know [giggle]…” [More]

Good grief.

A Woman of the People

KAMALA HARRIS’S HUSBAND’S FIRM, DLA PIPER, CONSULTS ON BEHALF OF A BEVY OF CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY-OWNED COMPANIES AND EMPLOYS FORMER CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY OFFICIALS. [More]

It's a big club and you ain't in it.

CO GOTV

I've been asked to pass this message along. I do wish groups would publish these on their websites so those of us who post via blogs and on social media could share a link.

I do have one concern with the wording, something I've said here many times: I will not "lose [my] fundamental rights" until I am dead. True, we can be blocked from exercising them by force, but this is more than a quibble over semantics-- it goes to the nature of rights. We don't have special ones simply because we're Americans -- we just have a special system for recognizing them.  Or had, with the buildup of erosions gaining momentum and approaching the point of critical collapse unless we reverse it.

We're the Only Ones Spotty Enough

Virginia Beach City Manager appoints 30-year veteran from Cincinnati as new Chief of Police [More]

Let's see, one of his big plans to get control of everything is to use ShotSpotter?

The one that he's been using in Cincinnati? Leaving "Cincinnati on pace for record killings"?

Yeah, he should fit right in.

In Other Words, He's a Tyrant

A federal judge in Pennsylvania ruled Monday the state Democratic governor’s lockdown orders are unconstitutional, violating both the First and 14th Amendments. [More]

And he's not in chains because...?

Not What They Wanted to Hear

Anti-Gun Violence Research Consortium Admits Problems Not The Gun, But The Individual [More]

John Petrolino filed a [reports on an AmmoLand] New Jersey Open Public Records Request [that] got back some interesting results that the grabbers don't seem to want anyone to know about -- it kind'a reminds me of Wright/Rossi not giving Jimmy Carter the junk science results they expected and he wanted.

Curious thing about these tax plunder-funded collectives: They never are much interested in two sides, are they?

There's a lot of information here and at the risk of minimizing anything, one point stands out to me, the bit about requiring financial institutions competing for state bond/municipal business to parrot directed anti-gun propaganda to their clients.  I'm wondering if that might not open a door to First Amendment and other challenges.

Take Her Word For It

Joe might just be starting to realize he comes with a "Use By" expiration date label...

We're the Only Ones Embarrassing Enough

Surveillance footage captured Deputy Steve Hortz breaking into the home on at least three occasions and leaving with stolen possessions such as weapon safes, ceiling fans and cases of unknown items ... “He’s embarrassed this profession, he’s embarrassed this organization, and he’s embarrassed the almost 4,000 members who do good work everyday”... [More]

Yeah, "asset forfeiture" means you share the spoils. Plus he got caught.

Thulsa has a creative idea on a much-underused place for him to think about what he did wrong:

Involuntary Commitment Case Shows Intent to Deny Right to Arms is Forever

In other words, “We know the guy is being hosed but sorry – Catch 22 applies.” [More]

There's a reason why they call us "gun nuts."
