Court Filing: DOJ Punishes Black Man but Protects Hunter Biden

The Biden administration’s actions are especially curious, having made “gun control” and outrage over racial injustices domestic policy centerpieces.  [More]

Funny, all the "usual suspects" who are fine with this.

Speaking of 'Settled Science'...

Official data: Fully vaccinated people account for 9 of 10 COVID deaths [More]

If that constitutes being fact-checked, is it premature to ask when the tribunals begin?

Can We All Get Along?

 No. Absolutely not. [Listen]

Same Bird of Prey

Two Democratic senators joined Republicans on Wednesday to advance GOP legislation that would close off public access to inactive police files in Virginia. [More]

So the choice is between police state fascists and police state communists?

The Big Crapple

In NYC, if you smear a woman’s face with your own feces, they let you out of jail ‘hours later’ even with 44 prior arrests [More]

Why would anyone consent to give authority to any government that allows this to happen?

The Fact of the Matter`

If you want ordinary people to make your society occupation-proof, you have to teach them to kill well before they need to do so. [More]

Recognizing that truth kinda makes you wonder why The Atlantic does everything in its power to subvert that here.

With Republicans Like These, Who Needs Democrats?

There, Kevin Mannix set out to “amend” it. And amend it he did. Working with a group called “Oregon Gun Owners” Republican Mannix, and then-House Rep Democrat Floyd Prozanski, actually managed to make the bill worse. [More]
You're better off in these cases letting the Democrat win and letting the Republicans know why.

A Growing Franchise Opportunity

On Tuesday night, voter turnout was higher than it was in the last midterm cycle — a very inconvenient truth for Dems who spent months claiming the recently enacted election integrity law would disenfranchise voters. [More]

That and motivated Republican voters means Party leadership is really going to have to outdo themselves if they want to blow it...

We're the Only Ones for the Children Enough

A trooper with Pennsylvania State Police is facing child pornography charges.Sean McKenzie, 37, was arrested Tuesday in Westmoreland County and is facing 32 counts of sexual abuse of children and two counts of criminal abuse of communication facility. [More]

Who Started It?

The shooting victim then came up to shove his brother-in-law, at which point Woods gave him a left stiff arm and then raised his right arm with the gun to shoot Brian Fredde in the chest. [More]

Closing in on someone in his own yard to shove him isn't assault? And would an "Only One" be given a "followed protocol" pass?

There's an Analogy in There Somewhere...

Once the 18-to-30-foot-tall bollards are severed near the ground, their only remaining point of attachment is at the top of the structure, leaving the steel beam dangling in the air. It easily swings open with a push, creating a gap wide enough for people and narcotics to pass through. [More]

So the physical thing itself requires human manipulation to have its function abused?

The Fightin' Kiwis

For more than three weeks, hundreds of protesters have disabled the center of New Zealand’s capital city, occupying the area in front of Parliament and issuing increasingly violent threats to politicians and other public figures in an ostensible battle against the country’s vaccine mandates. Wrongthinking is Punishable

Czechs Could Face 3 Years In Prison For Supporting Russia On Social Media [More]

Define "supporting." I think Russia is clearly in the wrong and support the people of Ukraine for taking up arms against them. I also think NATO and the U.S. share their portion of using the country like a pawn and stoking Putin's fears.

Get regimes thinking they're literally fighting for their lives and all kinds of things we take for granted suddenly don't just go away, but can be turned into snares. Right and wrong become secondary to the power to enforce vs. the power to resist.

Sounds like a pretty good reason for not surrendering your capability for deterring those with the former...

A Conspicuous Absence

The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA)  partnered with the California Rifle & Pistol Association (CRPA) yesterday to petition the Supreme Court to hear a challenge to California's ban on magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds. [More]

I'd feel better about it if they mentioned "Militia" more than once, and then only to quote the Second Amendment. With everything going on right now in Ukraine, you'd think core purpose would be a major and persuasive argument, with plenty of Founding intent quotes and Miller to cite.

Time to Choose Sides

The bill that if signed into law would permit Ohioans to carry a concealed weapon without a permit has now passed both chambers of the Ohio General Assembly and goes to Gov. Mike DeWine for his consideration. [More]

... Taylor had had a monthslong affair with a Plano woman, Tania Joya, who he had paid $5,000 to keep quiet ... Taylor is married with three children ... Joya is known as a former jihadist who was once married to a commander for the Islamic State. [More]

That's not the only curious company this "conservative Republican" kept:

"Taylor was one of two Texas Republicans who voted for the [January 6] commission..."

Maybe he and Burqetta can double-date with Swallowell and Chicomina...

Agenda-Motivated Innuendo Does Not Hard Evidence Make

In a statement, the committee's chair, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), and vice chair, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), said the "facts we've gathered strongly suggest that Dr. Eastman's emails may show that he helped Donald Trump advance a corrupt scheme to obstruct the counting of electoral college ballots and a conspiracy to impede the transfer of power."
