Death of an Emperor

Previous reports said he wouldn't put the gun down when ordered. This report says he never drew it.

Opinions on the official use of deadly force in this situation, anyone?

amazing!2 shots to the chest AND a shot in the head? Sounds excessive to me,not to mention Snyder NEVER DREW HIS WEAPON.I hope there is an investigation

Was the shot to the head to the front or back of the head?

Regardless it was a bad shoot. In fact it seems to have been what is known as murder. A concious, thought out decision on the part of the shooter. The person who pulled the trigger deserves a long fall with a short rope, regardless of his job. Unless there is a lot more that we do not know.

If the incident went down as reported, Hemphill committed murder. If he is to be punished some citizen will have to kill him, because we already know his masters won't. He has done their bidding.

I think it is time we all quit relying on law enforcement to enforce the law. They are just another gang, albeit with a stricter dress code, but another criminal gang, nonetheless.

If the guy never drew, then I say it's not justified.

That's not how it'll be ruled though.

Yeah, some version of the South Park ""He was comin' right at me" justification will be used.

Since the gun was loaded only with bullets, I can't see the danger.
