Speaking of Calendars...

...there is one more day to send that email to CNN and ask them to play the Tom Gresham/Clint Smith gun law repeal question on the Republican YouTube debate, Wed., Nov. 28, 8:00 PM EST.

It'd sure be nice to think that gun owners would take a minute out of their lives to do this, and maybe take another minute to spread the word.

Dear David,

OK, I have sent my request off the CNN, and it will be interesting to see if this comes up in the debate.

Regards,
PolyKahr

Sent it again, David, as I did the first time requested. Missed it yesterday as I had to WORK. This work thing is so very strange.Everyday you are expected to show up and produce. So odd. Usually, I am expected to get up on my crutches/wheelchair/walker/hospital bed, and do various tricks of physical activities, all for no pay. Now that I am experiencing a burst of good health, I am expected to produce. These capitalist tricksters! Don't even get me started on the taxes I am now expected to pay.

I did it (belatedly), but just noticed this in the fourth paragraph:

They'll continue sifting through more, through the submission deadline of November 25, right up to the debate.

Doesn't change our effort, 45S--it just meant they continued to accept new candidates until that deadline and are still in process of deciding.

Done. Fat lot of good it will do.

I hope that I'm wrong.

Done.

Now for the letters against Mr. Sullivan...

Done... again.

I sent this time:

"I'm writing to urge CNN to consider the following "you tube" question for the upcoming Republican debate.

Considering the 2nd Amendment Heller case pending before the Supreme Court, the first such case in almost 70 years, it would seem to be right on point for the candidates.

Respectfully,

CNN doesn't give a rat's arse for e-mailed entreaties to do something beside load the 'debate' with Democrat plants. You can't sway them, they are the enemy.

I understand that perfectly well, ptg--the hope was, they would see this as an opportunity to hurt some of the republican candidates like frontrunner Rudy, who, at least according to their polls, is the biggest threat to Hillary, and use it because of that.

This was done in the spirit of seeing if we could manipulate the left into attacking itself.

You didn't think I was appealing to them because I thought they were reasonable and interested in fairness, did you?
