A British student has been arrested in the US for attempting to buy a gun for a dare using fake ID, US police said...That sounds like as good a reason as any to call in the bomb squad and evacuate two blocks of apartments on the other side of the Atlantic for five hours, doesn't it?

This like alcoholics, once the power starts flowing they can't stop themselves. I can just see the command post and the little pea-brains running around with all their gear on doing this and that as the orders flow out of command.
They get drunk on the power and they feed on each other. Which makes me wonder is this normal human behavior? If not, does HR 2640 kick in?
That student is probably in a cell somewhere saying, "But even the US news media said I could do it!"
He could have done it ... but was too clueless.
Vermont is a freedom state ... he could have just bought one at a gun show or through the newspaper classifieds.
