We're the Only Ones Straw Purchasing Enough

The private military company Blackwater has found an unusual way to skirt federal laws that prohibit private parties from buying automatic weapons. Blackwater bought 17 Romanian AK-47s and 17 Bushmasters, gave ownership of the guns to the Camden County sheriff and keeps most of the guns at Blackwater's armory in Moyock.
Hey, at least they fully wrote out "Yes" and "No" on the transfer documents, so there was nothing "willful" about this.

See, when your state-sponsored you can do anything.

That's my problem, I don't want to be state-sponsored.

Of course, I don't want AIDS either.

So, how much does a small-town (county) sheriff cost nowadays?

Less than the $10,000 a worn-out Russian AK-47 will run the average mortal?

Hmm.

Mugabe's Zimbabwe. Arms his friends with military weapons, disarms his opposition... The similarities are getting disturbing.

Just another of the "public-private" partnerships in action.

I'm not sure if it was you or someone else, but wasn't there a thank you letter written to the NRA sometime around WWII from a president?

Maybe you have a link and can go leave it in the comments to shut up all the blackwater apologists?

Also, what about the transferring laws that locked up Olofson? IF the county owns them then HOW can they transfer them to BW without violating the law? If BW has access to keys or the weapons they are out of the control of the owners. They can be used in crimes and further the anti-rights agenda via stats.

I thought there was another, but that's close enough.
