Billboards and road signs are definitely an idea that could be exploited more. Everybody knows about the Champaign County "Burma Shave" campaign, right?
It's something a local group can put together and finance on their own, and it's sure to gain notice--and controversy gains media attention and a wider forum to introduce arguments to.

Good publicity is the best thing that can happen for us to win people over to our side.
The woman in the photo projects strength and confidence. Very good.
Unfortunately, in TX, petitions have no legal effect. The sponsors do however build a mailing list.
