We're the Only Ones Providing Protection Enough

Authorities on Tuesday announced that 10 Cook County corrections officers and sheriff's deputies, four Harvey police officers and one Chicago officer were charged with providing protection for what they thought were a dozen large-scale shipments of cocaine and heroin.
Yeah, just a few bad apples. To serve and protect what again...?

Not that we've ever had problems with Harvey "Only Ones" before. Or Cook County or Chi-Town, for that matter.

I don't know what to say. I'm in c(r)ook County and these chuckle heads are supposed to uphold the law and protect my family and property.
The County Board wants to disarm the law abiding with more bans.
I guess when it all comes down to the real world. You can only depend and rely on yourself.

Because the wisdom of the county board here is surly failing yet again.

School shootings, Chicago's gangs remain armed, mall murders (Lane Bryant) .
Cops are people too. Subject to bad judgement and bribery just like elected officials...

One here continually asks why is it the state of Illinois continually needs a federal prosecutor here with the integrity of Patrick Fitzgerald to reign in the graft and corruption of state and local government agencies. It's glaringly obvious the local government atty's are in someone's pockets.

This just makes me sick

This is just a logical consequence of believing in "the state".

Wow. And I thought only small Southern towns were that corrupt.

Before anybody gets bent, I was from a small Southern community, and it was, and still is quite corrupt.

The bottom line is: Parsites.
Parasites do not have the same value system in place that other people have.
