South Dakota Constitution, Article VI:
"§ 1. Inherent rights. All men are born equally free and independent, and have certain inherent rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty...."
....and....
"§ 24. Right to bear arms. The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the state shall not be denied"
Yeah. It's a right in South Dakota, and I'm Teddy Roosevelt.
