This Day in History: April 19

The government "enforcing existing gun laws."--April 19, 1775

The government "enforcing existing gun laws."--April 19, 1993

Why do some who purport to speak for gun owners think that's such a good idea?

I'm not trying to get anyone jacked out of shape. But look at that tank with the American flag on it as it engages in the murders of men, woman and children. My question is, is that still our flag or has it been hijacked by criminals?
I'm deeply bothered by that flag flying in that picture of mass murder of American citizens.
Note: That's right DHS I'm a whack job who believes in the United States Constitution and God. Don't like it come get me, you know who I am. In fact you know who all of us are so when are you going to start your round up and imprison and murder more decent and lawful Americans?

Your shackles are looser than anyone else's in the world...uhhmmmmmm, what I mean to say is, you still have more freedom than anyone else in the world. Stop your sniveling!

LOL! For now maybe Longbow. These international bankers can't have the penned up cattle looking through the rails at the free range cattle and still do the dirty deed that they are bent on doing.

We must never forget Waco, when then Gov Ann Richards & Pres.Clinton (2 Democrats) violated Posse Comitatus by sending the military (Delta Force)against civilians. The people did little to stop the "authorities". Waco is THE perfect example of why we should NEVER give up our guns & why we should FEAR the gov't...New Orleans after Katrina is another example of what is in store for us. We should fear the military, (seemingly unable to think for themselves) and the local police, because they both swear an Oath to the Supreme Law of the land and yet they haven't a clue what it says. Longbow's mindset is exactly what I mean. God help us!

I am under the impression that the latter picture is that of the (federal) Treasury Department enforcing Texas (state) laws against sexual abuse of children, based on the unsubstantiated testimony of a single person. Surely an example of the actual meaning of "incorporation" in the opinion of the state.

But I could be wrong.

I had a conversation with a LEO family member about the militarization of police forces recently. I'd like to show him that picture and see if he has the audacity to tell me "that's not mechanized infantry assaulting citizens, that's policemen keeping the public order."

The rumors went down the list. The Davidians -- an offshoot of the Seventh-Day Adventists, who do not eat pork or shellfish -- were running a METH LAB. Or they had grenades -- yes, they sold novelty "Complaint Dept. - Take a Number" desk plaques with hollow inert practice grenades attached, the number attached to the pin pull-ring. Ever seen one?
Child molesters, anti-government militia, they ran through them all. Illegal armor-piercing rounds turned out to be Ferret shotgun teargas rounde shot through the walls by the FBI. Through the walls, with children inside.
Koresh and a follower had had a gunfight, I read, over leadership of the settlement, and wounded each other, but that was years ago.
The DHS report warning about anyone opposing federal government sovereignty over them was crafted especially for these POLITICAL and RELIGIOUS separatists - many were black or Hispanic - who believed the End Times were near and were ready to ride them out in seclusion.
Uncle Slam says no, everybody must play.
I thought destroying the village in order to save it went out as an excuse in the Vietnam era.
Look up "Waco Holocaust Electronic Museum" for the words and pictures of people who were there, and the testimony of the government.

ATF raised their black flag in victory over the smoldering ruins and steaming corpses after tearing down the Davidian STAR OF DAVID flag.
I was young and ignorant and just newly exposed to Reichstag Fires and FEMA and the concept of disinformation. If the seige began today, I'd go to Texas, and anyone at a checkpoint to hold me back would have a real bad day.
Baylor University in Waco had Janet Reno as honored (and paid) guest speaker on "Ethics in Government" a couple of years ago, and Reno made a decent showing in a run for office in her native Florida. Either people don't get it, or they're fine with it. They always think it's someone else that's going to get fragged up. Funny how the victims of massacres we see on the news got up, got dressed and put their shoes on that day, like any other.

Listen guys, here are some thoughts. We are too many people dumb people now. As long as people with no education or a brain can vote it's a lost cause. No way can we ever defend ourselves against our own government, best we can hope for is defend ourselves against dumb criminals. Only chance we have is saving our souls. It's the only real choice we have. Our Government can delete us from 100's of miles away and never feel more than a bleep on a screen.
But watch this, makes you feel just a little bit better http://www.wimp.com/thegovernment/
and for the record, I really despise the liberals, they have succeeded in destroying a great nation.

I disagree with Longbow, we don't have more freedom here than many countries. What do you call freedom? One of my business is a Massage Center, I am NOT allowed to be open pass 9pm. I am NOT allowed to hire anyone who does not have insurance, a state license, a city license plus so many fees I don't know where to start. If I was in Hong Kong, or Indonesia, or Thailand to name a few. I can be open 24-7 and hire anyone I please. Who is free? I was an electrical contractor for 20 years, I needed many licenses and bonds. Almost any country on earth you can do work without government approval. My partner got a ticket by the city for replace the fascia board on the front of his house. Needed a $300 permit to replace $75 piece of wood. We are free? Crying? complaining? I am paying over 44% of my hard blood and sweat work to our government who is pissing it away. Don't tell me I am free. I rather we live in a country where I can bribe government and that be the norm, at least I would have some control.

Of course, in the top picture, it's the government that got its comeuppance, whereas the government got away with murder in the second one.

Yeah, yeah, "Captain Obvious" and all that.
