We're Being Lied to About U.S. Guns and Mexican Cartels. Why?

Ask yourself who could be opposed to ATF officials--testifying under oath--as to the complete truth of what they know about Mexican cartel guns? Besides someone who finds an advantage in suppressing the truth?

Forget the gun rights issue for a moment--you'd think it would be a matter of national security. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column continues unraveling a lie. Still, just having a few of us realize this won't change anything. More need to know--and do something about it. And you can help.

Asking for help sharing the link isn't too much to ask, is it?

Also get the latest from my fellow GREs, find out about political machinations in Oregon, two upcoming events in Ohio, and how you can read the current issue of Guns Magazine online for free.

"Kerry said that only about one out of every four weapons seized by Mexican authorities last year was submitted to ATF to be traced back to purchasers... Not 90% of the cartels' firearms. 90% of 25% of only the minuscule fraction of guns reported seized (vs. actually seized?), with no indication of what percentage of those seizures came from cartel members..."
It takes too much time or ink for the media to go into all that, just as it does to say "semi-automatic rifle" and explain what that means instead of "assault weapon" or even, as Richmond Times-Dispatch columnist Michael Paul Williams calls them today, "assault rifles." The media are tightening their belts. Electricity, ink and newsprint cost. They have to economize. It's not like THEIR rights are at stake -- yet.
Maybe they could cut some socialist columnists. Readership might go up.
