Smart gun proponents ought to test their product by pointing the 'loaded but safe' weapon at their own heads.
You'll note that the hammer does not move when the trigger is pulled, so nothing can account for the sound. I bet that the device is not yet functional, and the sound was added by an editor.
The device is also activated by a watch, which means that the gun will still work when an attacker fires the gun close to the recently disarmed victim, and it also means that the defender needs to wear the watch to use his weapon.
