I remember as a kid walking by watching a girl and walking into a light standard.

I was embarrassed as hell - never occurred to me that I should have sued for my being a maroon.

My sisters both used to walk into flagpoles and trees. One broke out a tooth. Twice. One just knocked herself out. I could never understand why they didn't watch where they were going. There wasn't even texting to blame back then.

It's called natural selection. Instead of padding light poles, gird them with spikes. And leave more manhole covers open...
