Do you think Phillip Kennicott actually believes his own nonsense, or is he just doing his part as an "Authorized Journalist" to propagate the meme that Lightworker criticism = racism?
The most astute comment of the lot came from judsonhouse1, who gives Kennicott exactly the intellectual consideration this piece merits.
On a side note, feral sons Uday and Qusay are in SoCal right now (with Cousin Kim Jong!) stomping on fault lines to see what they can trigger. I told them when they get to LA to jump out of the car (preferably in traffic) and rip one of these down and bring it back to me for a souvenir.

I just waded through Kennicott's precious twaddle, and that's 5 minutes I'll never get back.
This is a prime example of why WaPo and NYT are struggling.
As for the image, I think it's awesome.
Please, tread lightly on the faultline.
The image is a classic, and I suspect it's not gonna go away quickly.
If anyone could find that comment by JudsonHouse1 and link to it, we'd all appreciate it. Comments are up to 65 pages so far...

As of 4:21 Eastern, there are Zero comments....
For some reason, R.L.Ermeys speech in Full Metal Jacket came to mind, the part that ends with the line, "you are all equally worthless".............I swear he stole that speech from me. I used to give it at the beginning of every basic training cycle. I managed to avoid setting myself up for the late nite latrine part.
Caption under the first picture in the Post’s “slideshow”: “The new poster has two basic thrusts: Obama is a socialist, or a crypto-socialist; and he's somehow like the Joker, unpredictable and dangerous.” I might add the third “thrust”: He’s also a narcissist who obviously doesn’t give a damn about collateral damages he will be inflicting. And, a forth thrust: He’s a crook who learned everything he knows about politics from Chicago’s crooked politicians.
Whoever came up with this poster has probably made the most important and informative statement about the president of the United States as well as most of the legislators and bureaucrats involved in government in today’s world.
And, Kennicott should take his racists remarks and stuff them back up the same hole from whence he acquired them.
While I still don't think this image indicates any real trouble for Obama -- Amsoc is already entrenched and Obama is just hurrying it along. However, the image is an indication that some people know what that final results will be. Remember the Joker was an unprincipled, murderous thug.
