All A(bove)board?

In the railway part of the attack, two of the terrorists indiscriminately fired at passengers with AK-47 assault rifles. [More]
That they retrieved from their checked-in luggage?

What? No?

They weren't even passengers on any train? They smuggled themselves, their AK-47s, grenades, etc., into the country on small boats that came ashore from the Arabian Sea?

So what the hell does this have to do with the Amtrak amendment? Nothing? Then why even bring it up?

Oh.

Why is it agenda-driven "Authorized Journalist" manipulators like Michael Isikoff get such far-reaching and influential writing gigs again?

Because they deliver.

I don't know the origin of the name Isikoff, but I do know what it means. Isikoff=I am all prick.

What better thing than to ensure the survival of a victim- to- be- disarmament- zone. That way, when perhaps dozens are murdered by terrorists( who oddly enough don't seem to ever get the memo on no guns policy) Schumer and Co. can dance in their blood, and demand yet more, you guessed it, gun control.

Just how much clout does the gun lobby have on Capitol Hill?

is he asking about the millions of voters who live in gun-owning households, or the millions more of voters who support the right to keep and bear arms?

because, well, just for example, they put barack obama in the white house.

not that most of them like him all that much, y'understand, but that was the outcome, and nobody else voted -- like europeans, or something. and we're also 100% certain there was no voter fraud involved. of course.

whenever i read "gun lobby" i just see "americans." are we pretending there's some other definition?

I haven't touched a Newsweek in years... wow what a farce of an article that was. An AK underfolder will fit nicely in a duffel bag or tennis racket cover. Yes, I'm sure railway gun restrictions would have thwarted the mumbai attacks... what planet do these people live on?
