See, if we start with the assumption that the purpose of government is to "secure the Blessings of Liberty," a lot of the confusion--as well as resulting "Only Ones" problems--just kind of goes away.

In the case of “murky, confusing and vague” rules, the ethical choice is to refuse to act against those whose "violations" may not be violations. Cops wouldn't know "ethical" if it crapped on their noses.
