An Unfair Expectation

I barely had time to make the [911] phone call. Anyone who thinks I could have gotten to a weapon and shot somebody I never fully saw watches too many movies. [More]
Fear not, Mr. Goddard.

I don't know anyone who has that expectation--of you.

I'm not exactly Quick Draw McGraw, but I can draw a gun and get it into play a hell of a lot more quickly than I can make a phone call.

It apparently doesn't occur to him that he's asking someone else to come in and risk it all doing that which he is unwilling to do. Better to force the rest of us into the same contemptible position so his abdication is masked.

That site confuses me - although everyone knows that is not toooo hard.

It's called "Opposing Views", and published a Paul Helmke article. Typical content, typical position, but I don't see a lot of "Opposing Views" in the comments.

More accurately I see ONLY opposing views in the comments - there are precisely ZERO comments supporting the writer of the article and its featured cry-baby. WTF??? Are we really winning that big?

Fuck the murdering Colin Goddard. Yes, that's right, Colin Goddard is a murderer. An accessory to murder is a murderer. He and people like him enable murderers and are responsible for those venues and institutions whom they have coerced, cajoled, threatened, or simply convinced to make murder by madmen more easily accomplished by refusing to take responsibility for their lives, but worse, advocate for not allowing anyone else the ability to defend their lives. They have provided helpless victims all over this nation. They have posted signs advising murderers where to find these helpless victims. That makes him and his ilk murderers.

It's just a damn shame he did not suffer the full consequence of that which he enables. People will ask do I wish him dead. The answer, YES. I hate murderers and think all should be released of this mortal coil.

It's time to make these liberal folks accountable for their actions. They need to spend the rest of their lives in court defending their policies when they fail. VT already had a no gun policy in place. The criminal ignored it like they always do. The police, VT officials, Politicians who passed the no gun bill need to be sued as accessories before and after the fact. Let the lawyers make their lives miserable forever.

I had read that the Columbine shooters had illegally obtained their weapons from two associates, not directly from gun shows. The associates had legally acquired the weapons.

Laws do not directly prevent behavior, but allow arrest and conviction after the behavior occurs reducing the incentive for the behavior. Totally ineffective.
