Magazine Explores Lack of 'Common Sense' in Gun Debate

The "common sense" theme established by the letter is happily coincidental. My "Rights Watch" column for the month is "Senseless in Seattle," commenting on media coverage and calls for more "citizen disarmament following "the murder of four police officers in a Pacific Northwest coffee shop by a felon with a history of violence"--one aided and abetted by family members.
