We're the Only Ones 10-55 Enough

"Advise him that I have a trooper stopped. He is a captain with the Highway Patrol, and he is extremely 10-55."

The code 10-55, according to the report, indicates an intoxicated driver. No action was taken against the driver. [More]

No, of course not.

What do they call that?

Oh, yeah. "Professional courtesy."

"Only Ones"-style.

You don't have a problem with that, do you?

Oh now come on... You don't know what kind of day he'd had! DO YOU have any idea how much stress these Law Imposement Officers are under daily? Have you been there there? Have You been "on the job"?.

If the Captain with the highway patrol was driving while extremely intoxicated, don't you think it was probably the right thing to do?

Don't you understand that by exposing this incident you could be jeopardizing an ongoing under-cover investigation, placing other Law Imposement Officers' lives in danger?

Why don't you mere mortals, uhhhhh, I mean Civilians, just shut up and mind yer bidniss!

Lesser beings should know their place!

As my friend JPG said, "'Professional Courtesy' would be not breaking the law in my jurisdiction."

Aw c'mon, where's our sense of decency? These guys are out there all day long making sure a$$h0!3s like us don't hurt innocent people by driving under the influence. It is because they are such experts at the crime that they know when to pull us over and tazer us and lock us up... whaddya want??? Justice?

Just look at the portrait of the young officer. He is a-j squared away and showing us what a decent human being he is. We can't treat him like a thug. No, we need to go down on bended knee and thank him for doing his thankless job. He's one of the Only Ones Manly Enough to drink and drive in this country.

One point it may be useful to stress is that a news organization brought this to light. An example of what journalists are supposed to do. We should thank them for this. Now if they'd just do the same for the other violations law enforcement commits every day. You know, civil rights, inalienable rights, Second Amendment, and so on.
