The introduction of a little courage COULD result in the largest reduction of communist oppression in American history. Unfortunately, that history will remain unwritten. The inhabitants of America were unable to exercise their rights because they had been persuaded (by the communists) that they must throw off the communist yoke,ONLY if they did so on completely moral and legal grounds. Something the communists were not restricted by.
The flintlock musket and pistol put lethal force in the hands of even the minimally trained. One could administer a very permanent sanction against an aggressor, regardless of age or physical condition, without long military or conventional martial arts training. That's a real deterrent, compared to the RISK of getting caught, the RISK of getting tried and convicted and the RISK of being imprisoned.
Stove, refrigerator, firearm. There shouldn't even be a question.
