Tovarisch TV

From Kaelyn Forde, a correspondent at RTTV.com:
I’m very pleased to let you know that the Open Carry/Three Percenters pieces, parts 1 and 2, will be airing today, Wednesday April 20 and tomorrow Thursday, April 21. They will air as part of our newscast at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. You can also watch live at: http://rt.com/on-air/rt-america-air/

I’ve attached a pdf of where to watch RT in various parts of the country as well.

Also, you can check out our youtube channel where we will post the video around 5 p.m: http://www.youtube.com/user/RTAmerica

I took the liberty of posting the pdf on Scribd.

Plus they want me to debate this guy, who's against open carry.  No idea what to expect with that as it's a last minute switch from what was supposed to be a solo interview, but like the man said, "I'm yo' huckleberry..."

Tune in--should be fun.

UPDATE:  Interesting. It's the first time I've participated in such a format. The back-and-forth and unexpected twists and curveballs make for a challenge.  I'm not unhappy with the outcome, but do think I'd benefit from some sparring practice.

All of us who advocate for RKBA no doubt would.

Ya done good - especially given the limitations of the format!

Q: Do you feel some are carrying as a statement against the government?

A: Those that do are in the minority. There have been a few instances where open carriers met in a Nat. Park to express displeasure with federal gun laws but for the most part people who open carry do so as a free speech issue or because of climate (heat/humidity).

Good response on Jeanne Assame.

About the only criticism I have is that you didn't mention that the "more likely to be killed when there's a gun in the house" meme is based on both refuted and a discredited studies.

And I would have pointed out the dramatic rise in assaults and killings in the UK since their ban, seeing as how RT chose to invite a Damn Furriner to debate you.

Nevertheless, a great job, David. Thanks for all you do.
