We're the Only Ones Grand Slammed Enough

According to news reports, five plain-clothes detectives were enjoying a meal in the restaurant when a customer noticed one of them carrying a gun. Reports say that all of them were also wearing badges either on their belt or around their neck. A manager approached the group and told them that they would have to take their guns back to their cars, as it was “company policy” to allow only uniformed officers to carry firearms, and the business was clearly posted as such. Outrageous, treating them like other customers! Especially since Denny's is doing a Hobbit movie-themed promotion right now, and they were all wearing their magic talismans. So they got their Moons over My Hammy out of there...

Wonder why they were wearing their badges out in plain sight? Could it be that Denny's gives only ones a cut on their meals or even free food?

I've seen freeloader only ones take full advantage of a free food policy on several occasions. All the other customers in that restaurant work for a living too.

So the Police Chief wisely has prohibited his on-duty officers (uniformed and plainclothes) from eating there. I hope that all the hoplophobes enjoy their pancakes now, and that no one is inspired to hold them now that not even a police officer would be found there.
