In light of other shootings by police in California this year, it sounds like they're moving in the right direction. Unlike Margie Carranza and Emma Hernandez, at least in this case the cops knew they were shooting at the right driver. And a guy driving a car through city streets at a high rate of speed posed a much greater risk to officers than Andy Lopez walking down the street carrying an airsoft toy.
