Before You Decide

Before half the country decides that I am a crazy liberal and stops reading here, let me note that I am a security professional, and a 12 year veteran of the Navy where I served as a weapons system technician, base police officer, and firearms instructor. I am proud gun owner. I’m also a single father. I do not want to ban guns but I do want to protect my son from the dangers they pose. [More
Plus he writes for The Daily Beast!

So before you decide he's a crazy liberal, ask yourself why that impressive summary disavowing "progressive" sympathies and making it seem like he's one of "us," who's only interested in "common sense gun safety," neglects to mention he's also a proud supporter of the Clinton Foundation and California Young Democrats.

Yeah, I've decided. Crazy liberal, no. He knows exactly what he's doing.

Claims he's not a Liberal and yet , is proud to admit he belongs to this Truman "Think Tank" ..I just did a quick search for their funding and , the Progressive Pages popped up everywhere ---QUOTE--"
As we reported last week, the board of directors and executive staff of the Truman National Security Project are littered with establishment liberals and Democratic consultants representing groups like the Progressive Policy Institute, the Open Society Institute and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign organization. Several of the organization’s employees – including its president, a Democratic activist – also receive funding from an environmental group called “Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs.”

Additionally, since our story ran we have been able to uncover additional reports showing that the Truman National Security Project was formed out of the ashes of John Kerry’s failed 2004 presidential bid, with the specific goal of “preventing other Democratic candidates from being identified as soft on defense.”

Of course, simply scrubbing the name of this left-wing front group from the Graham ad (and replacing it with another front group) doesn’t hide the paper trail.

In fact, look no further than the Washington D.C. advertising agency that purchased the airtime – GMMB.

“We are, at heart, activists,” the GMMB website states. “We believe in our clients and are dedicated to the causes they champion.”

Just another "gun owner, but".

So, to sum up, I'm qualified to decide if you should own guns, but you're not. Because Navy.

Y'know, there's no law that says this alleged patriotic gun owner CAN'T have ND insurance and CAN'T voluntarily limit the number of guns he owns and CAN'T let the police and/or DHS/NSA know how many guns he has. All of that is permisble to him, but he doesn't do it.

If he thinks this is a good idea, he should lead by example, and stop telling the rest of us what to do. Otherwise, he's just another hypocrite on the same (low) level as Bloomberg.

Beware of the man who claims to be a 2A supporter at the first of a statement. Perhaps the body of the word will tell the truth.

To the despicable scum-sucking, bottom-feeding communist parasitic pile of crap that wrote this marxist screed.

You are worthy of nothing but contempt.
And I speak as a Navy veteran, a former police officer and firearms safety trainer.
You, on the other hand, are a worthless waste of skin.
