It's a Small Club and We're In It

Oh, what a tangled web we weave!
"A small cadre"? At least they didn't say "cabal." Or "cell." [More]

And at least they spelled our names right.

It does look like we've got their attention, but it makes us sound like conspirators harassing the poor government, doesn't it? I mean, who but agitating extremists would want to know rights aren't being wrongfully denied, if records are accurate and if consistent rules are being applied equitably to all?

No time like the present to keep the momentum going.

And Lord knows being "largely unsuccessful" couldn't have anything to do with judicial bias and agenda precedent over principle.

Looks like AUSA Kolsky was appointed in the Obama administration, and previously clerked for Barry Silverman on the Ninth Circuit...

Also looks like Sessions was cleaning house and didn't lift the rug...

The World according to the DOJ and it's affiliated agencies--

"There is No Public Benefit from the Released Records"
It's best that you don't know what your Government is doing because it's very complex, and you wouldn't understand anyway.

"Defendants’ Withholdings Were Reasonable and Not Made in Bad Faith"
After all, we're such angels, and we're only here to help.

"Plaintiff’s Fee Request is Excessive"
Our salaries, however, are completely reasonable. All 131,543 of us.

"Any Fee Award Must be Reduced to Account for Plaintiff’s Limited
Success"
See? Our stonewalling abilities actually save the taxpayers money!
I told you we were here to help!

The legal definition of the term "public" means "government". Look it up. Changes a whole lot of things when read correctly, doesn't it. Like "public lands", "public highways", "public buildings", "public servant". See?
