I'd be interested in finding out why his career with the Olathe PD ended up on the rocks two years ago. All they say is "His employment terminated prior to him completing training."

The complaint was that he had made a “racist joke.” The joke was racist apparenly only because it referenced a black person by name, and didn’t at all make fun of his actual race.
If this dolt had asked for a Kathryn Steinle martini, for the same reasons, I assume that would not have been racist.
Of course, I suppose someone would simply claim the joke was racist against Mexicans, because a Mexican somehow appeared somewhere in the penumbras and emanations of the joke.
