If I Had Thought You Would Defend Yourself I Never Would Have Threatened You

The NRA told members that research on the gun epidemic would lead to “you losing all your guns,” according to Rosenberg. [More]
No, @$$hole. You told them that:
And Dr. Mark Rosenberg, Director of the CDC's National Center for Injury Control and Prevention (NCIPC) in 1994 told The Washington Post: "We need to revolutionize the way we look at guns, like what we did with cigarettes. Now it [sic] is dirty, deadly, and banned."

Results-oriented studies are neither science nor research. But don't expect this fraud Rosenberg to get anything from the press except heads nodding in agreement. It is difficult to decide who is the greater tool: the "scientist" who makes moronic statements, or the "journalist" who does not question them.

I believe there are almost 200,000 annual deaths in the United States due to medical malpractice or mistakes. Perhaps the CDC would serve the citizens better researching and solving that problem.

"Physician, heal thyself."

In point of fact, not only are cigarettes and other tobacco products not banned, tobacco farmers are making more money than ever today by growing an unlimited amount of tobacco on their farms. Before the tobacco allotment programs limited how much acreage farmers could put into tobacco, that limit went away when the allotment program was ended.
