Extra Security Precautions
Bill Barratt oversees security at the Bloomsburg fair. He says this year the board of directors will take extra security precautions such as banning people from bringing guns onto the fairgrounds. Nothing like throwing the ones least capable of defending themselves under the Bloomberg bus, as if that will stop it from rolling and the crazed driver won't just aim it at somebody else. (And why does that remind me of the way some regimes have treated "mental defectives"?)
Remember how, in spite of some movement and industry "leaders" urging that we'd have to give up something after Newtown, because congressmen can't just do nothing, some of us instead warned against throwing circling jackals a scrap of flesh and thinking that would make them go away?
Remember how some of us advocated:
Where it originated hardly surprises me. But that no longer matters, as the church sells indulgences (and just forget who really pays that bill).
What's disturbing is how many in "our ranks" seem not just oblivious to the danger they're inviting, but enthusiastic about embracing it. Most of them know not what they do, but that doesn't help. We're responsible for our actions, and "I didn't know the wolf would kill" is hardly a sympathetic excuse for opening the door in the first place and letting it in.
To those who counsel we need to stand together: That presupposes some are actually taking a stand, instead of engineering preemptive concessions.
Get on the right side of the damn line and we will.

IOW, the Administration has misrepresented the position of the NFATCA, which I find unsurprising. Leftists and Marxists have always sought to divide their opposition, frequently through the use of false flag operations and disinformation. [More]My response:
How about you get them to post their original petition that kicked this whole thing off so we can see for ourselves where the disinformation is coming from and how badly they've been misrepresented?Funny that they haven't done that already, and instead think an after-the-fact statement and clean-up pledge will suffice.
As an aside, I did get a laugh out of the phrase "collaborative work environment."
