But what if these lockdown drills are actually what is creating most of the anxiety? [More]I have a different kind of drill I'd love to be able to try -- give middle and high school kids who want to participate a day's worth of safety/tactical training and airsoft guns, have a designated adult "school shooter" and at the sound of the alarm, send 'em on a hunt, with a prize for first "kill."
It was made apparent when the Motion Picture Association of America gave it an R rating. Although it had no foul language or sex scenes, and less violence than Disney movies given a PG-13 rating, the screenwriter and producer of the film, Dr. J. P. Johnston, had to appeal to the MPAA to get it changed. [More]Took 'em long enough.
Kids as young as 8 have been issued red-flag gun orders in Florida [More]Hey, why have edicts if you can't ridiculously abuse them?

“And so this is not just a question about policy. This is a question about power,” he added. [More]It figures and Opposite Day "progressive" would oppose the most egalitarian power-sharing arrangement ever devised, demanding instead a totalitarian monopoly of violence.
Those are precisely what GOP sellouts have been proffering under the false premise that if we don’t preemptively surrender on those fronts, the Democrats will do something really, really bad to gun owners. And most of those voters have signaled back there will be no real political cost for disarmament bills as long as they’re “bipartisan.” [More]Unfortunately, that presupposes the Stupid Party will be smart and/or honest enough to see and then seize the opportunity.
Black Holes As We Know Them May Not Exist [More]Yeah, but what's that got to do with transferring wealth from productive Western cultures to keep the "settled science" climate crisis from flooding AOC's district out in 12 years and destroying all life as we know it?
