Armed Defense Stories Continue to Demonstrate Protective Benefits of Guns

Is Richard Clarke Just Ignorant or Worse About What Gun Rallies Commemorated?

So who is this character and why should we care what he says? [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column doesn't think he's ignorant. So that leaves what other alternative for someone who spreads a lie?

GRE Round Up for Apr. 23

There's some good stuff being turned out by the Gun Rights Examiners. I hope you're availing yourself of it, and importantly, sharing these links via emails, on blogs and forums, with your local newspaper editor, etc.

A common complaint is media bias and absence of representation for "our side."

These people work hard to change that and ask for nothing from those of us their labors serve other than to help spread the word. I hope no one thinks that's too much to ask.

Here are their latest offerings:

Paul Valone/Charlotte:
Gun vote 2010: Find out which candidates support your rights

Dan Bidstrup/Denver:
Are gun rights advocates seditious?

Rob Reed/Detroit:
Detroit Gun Rights Examiner gets it wrong - And Westland PD corrects the mistake

Liston Matthews/Knoxville:
Restaurant carry redo moves slowly in Tennessee Legislature

Dave Workman/Seattle:
Kurt Hofmann/St. Louis:
St. Peters, MO city buildings to remain 'gun free'

Chris Woodard/Tucson:

My best guess is the former is committed by one individual or group...?

And, oh, by the way, for those of you who have been flogging me about when Absolved will be done -- here it is. (Holds up a thumb drive.) My part is done, and it will be sent off to the editor and publisher next week.
Oh, Hell Yes!

Another Successful Armed Defense by Senior Shows Life-Saving Benefits of Guns

Her assailant? Young. Strong. Able to kick in a door. And determined to continue advancing toward her until...she pulled a gun and fired.

The physical advantage no longer on his side, he suddenly got "rational" and fled. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at a playing field leveler we discussed briefly here yesterday.

"Stolen by her mother."

It's evidently what the majority wanted at the time. Aren't we supposed to have a democracy?

I Kind'a Like This Picture

Finally got a brief (about 1-second) glimpse of me on video. The foreground makes it. I'm still waiting to watch the speech and find out how many times I said "uh."

Click here to watch a video of Daniel Almond being interviewed.

Oh, and Alyona? Your attitude is showing. You really aren't any smarter, more sophisticated or better informed. Someone with an open mind would realize that.

The Other Rally

Jon, who I met, shares photos from the Restore the Constitution rally. I like the bit with the impostor. Just shows you what liars those who wish you disarmed are. [View]

Well, some of us have heard it before.

The police reloaded it for me. [More]
Excellent work there.

Take a look at Nelson McAlpine there. What chance do you think 89-year-old Beatrice Turner would have had against this door-buster had she not been armed?
