Police Seek "Dark Colored" Killer Sedan

Detectives say Stone was just out for a morning jog, on his normal route, when a dark-colored,  four-door sedan pulled by, slowed down, fired several shots at him, then pulled off, without ever stopping. [More]

Oh, wait, this version has more detail, albeit it presents the same assumption about autovolition:

I wonder why some "Authorized Journalists" take it on themselves to suppress basic and essential facts about violent crimes, especially when it's the public that's at risk, and it's the public being appealed to to help identify the seda...uh...killers at large.

Not really. It's a simple pincer maneuver. The attack on the other flank accuses those who advocate armed self-defense of being paranoid racists, seething with unfounded hatred and fear (due to our all having tiny wieners, no doubt). Even though time and again the premise that the police can't protect people is borne out, and even though we'd also want to know if a stalking monster "looked like" someone besides Obama's imaginary son from his composite girlfriend.
