Top-Down Subversion (Yawn)

"They are anticipating something drastic." [Watch]
I'll say.

The head of "Homeland Security," abetted by A-raters, says illegals have earned the right to vote.

CDC is doing its utmost to weaken our immune system against the biggest public health threat.

Prozi media applies Alinsky Rule 5 to any raising a flag (oh, and thanks for once more confirming Carrol Quigley's cynical "throw the rascals out" quote, "Vote Freedom First President"!)

Thank goodness we have Google Trends to show us what our countrymen feel is significant enough to merit their attention:
Any bets on how those people represented in the trend lines feel about "gun control"?

Speaking of Trolls

Ah well, the Pratts who matter seem to tolerate me OK...

Another Country Heard From*

There's no point in engaging with this...this thing, since the whole reason behind the existence of these cowardly sadists and psychopaths is to infiltrate and disrupt.  You can see that from what he's said elsewhere, which you can do through his stock avatar.

That his screen name is a total contradiction in terms is no surprise. "Progressives" and Opposite Day, 'n all...

So why even  highlight this?  Partly to reaffirm that, but mostly just to exploit a Prozi for personal gain.

The Biggest Public Health Threat is Government

What's worth noting is the same government administrators endangering the public with real uncontrolled pathogens are doing their utmost to weaken the population's resistance to agents of deadly infection in the body politic. [More]
Today's JPFO Alert looks at the deadliest plague to ever threaten humankind.

Right to arms isn't only freedom 'progressives' want to eviscerate

These people really don’t care for freedom very much, do they? No wonder they want our guns so badly it consumes them. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner commentary invites you to participate in an updated version of "I'm Spartacus."  Except this time around, we haven't been conquered and we're all armed.

Those Who Do Not Learn from the Past

Assemblywoman Cheryl R. Brown (D-San Bernardino) revealed that her own father had served during WWII and had helped to liberate the Aushwitz concentration camp in Poland. He had told her about the smell of burned bodies as a child, writes the Times.[More]
So, Cheryl: You only got a 21% score from NRA?

How come you embrace the same monopoly of violence philosophy espoused by CSGV's Josh Horwitz and his ideological hero, Max Weber, that allowed it all to happen?

Lowering the Bar Redux

Connecticut Bar Association’s Support of 2013 Gun Ban is Deplorable
Connecticut Carry Calls for Public Denouncements of Proposal Connecticut Carry [More]
Here's a follow-up to a development we discussed yesterday.

Me, I'd be inclined to go down the list and file one of these.

Insult to Injury

What? You expect us to trust veterans with guns? [More]

Yeah, Sure

"Pro-life." [More]

Just like he's "pro-gun."

What is it we say about "progressives" and Opposite Day?

Unclear on the Concept

What an inflated sense of self-importance. Mike never sent trolls to your site, fella -- or whatever you are, seeing as how you fling your feces from behind a screen. [More]

He just pointed out how ridiculous Colmes' "Liberal Land" site is, and some people naturally wandered over to take a look at the freak show.

Thing is, your entire premise demonstrates you don't even realize how ignorant you are, even with all the dots that need to be connected staring you right in the face. You seem to get there's a Star Trek reference in Mike's post, but then go on to equate Landru in a robe with "chic" cross-dressing.

What is it with you "progressives," supposed champions of tolerance for alternative lifestyles, figuring the way to insult people is to equate them with trannies and tea-bagging homosexuals? I guess since you went there, I can too?

Speaking of which, and since you brought up throwing stones, how come your side never mentions stuff like this  and this?

And speaking of trolls, one of yours showed up in comments to Mike's initial post, again making the wrong assumption that he (me, really) was Fauxtoshopping Alan in a dress, but more tellingly, equating relative audience sizes between a Great Media Star and #justablogger with validity. Just like all those flat-earthers, slave holders and segregationists, back when their tyranny of the ignorant majority notions held sway. How many whistleblowers opened up to Alan again, as he was busy using his awesome network resources and connections to break major stories, as opposed to adding snark and Prozi spin to those dug out by others?

But doesn't that just tell us all we need to know -- if size matters, and the way so many collectivists resort to Markley's Law when they're not stuck on tea-bagging it sure must -- it's no wonder they worship the federal leviathan.

How "progressive."

Just like their demonstrable hatred for true egalitarian power-sharing called for in the Second Amendment...

Blast from the Past

I was looking for something else and rediscovered an old post that has an instructive lesson about Prozi control über alles.

The suicide rate in "gun free" California jails was approximately five times that of the general population.

This Day in History: July 18

The ship was indeed acquitted upon principles of law. But I fear, that the “chasm” in the testimony, by which her acquittal was affected, did not proceed from her innocence, so much as from the non-attendance of a witness. [More]

ATF developments mask chronic leadership ineptitude, clinging to old ways

Holder’s plan received fawning backing from ATF Director B. Todd Jones, who reports to him, and Chicago Police Department Superintendent Garry McCarthy, whose department receives substantial grant money from DOJ. They both know they were merely mouthing expected words demanded for the performance. [More]
Today’s Gun Rights Examiner report notes more promises from cynical creatures that have no intention of keeping them, and more corruption from the minions they “lead.” In other words, just another typical ATF update...

We're the Only Ones Short Term Enough

Ryszard Kopacz, 30, of Wauconda, was arrested July 9 – days after he started his job with and then was fired from the Richmond police force -- and charged with official misconduct, burglary and possessing stolen guns. [More]
I can't tell you how many new jobs I've lost because of that.

You too? It's like this guy is one of us!

Lowering the Bar

[T]he Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) is considering joining with the Brady Center to submit an amicus in support of Connecticut’s unconstitutional gun law, Public Act 13-3. [More]
Oh, are they now?

As I would expect, our friends at Connecticut Citizens Defense League are on top of things, but that doesn't mean they can do it all by themselves. They've put out a call to action via attorney Martha Dean that needs to be done NOW:
The Connecticut Bar Association is about to vote on whether to become a signatory to the Brady Center’s amicus brief in Shew v. Malloy (the federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of CT’s new firearms law). CBA’s Human Rights Section is pushing this anti-2nd Amendment position within the organization. Please share and forward this information on to all pro-2A attorneys and any other attorneys who would be concerned about this blatant and, in my view, entirely improper, politicization of CBA. Ask them to make their voices heard in writing and/or at the meeting this coming Monday. Any attorney who is a member of CBA can send written feedback to the CBA executive committee c/o this address: cdejohn@ctbar.org ON OR BEFORE SUNDAY JULY 20, 2014. Any CBA member can attend the Special Meeting to discuss whether CBA should sign-on to the Brady brief on Monday, July 21 at 6 p.m. at CBA Headquarters in New Britain. In order to attend the special meeting, CBA members MUST SIGN UP BY (tomorrow) THURSDAY, JULY 18 here >> https://www.ctbar.org/Calendar/Signup.aspx?EventNo=8195
If you are a Connecticut gun owner or one of their supporters, please take action without delay.

Not Debatable?

American AK-47 owners can breath a sigh of relief: Sanctions imposed upon Russia for its actions in Ukraine will not create a Second Amendment debate over the popular rifle. [More]
The hell it won't.

What happens to the guys stuck with inventory where payments may still be due? Just where does Obama get legitimate authority to stick his nose in this in the first damn place, as if this isn't just more of his sticking it to gun owners, and how does that trump "shall not be infringed"?  It's not like we're at war, and all trade has been suspended with full input from our representatives we can then hold accountable. This is singled out and targeted for a reason.
